I keep meaning to point out that that nasty chicken that I asked BChun to take out of my hotel room ended up being left “hidden” in my bathroom overnight. Blech. :tdown:

B: If people could let me know if either I can get my miniDV tapes sent back before I head out to ECC (so they’d have to be here by next Weds) or if I can pick them up from someone (Joe?) at ECCX, that’d be very helpful. I may be picking up some more tapes anyways, but obviously having to replace those 18 tapes would be something I’d want to know about sooner rather than later. Thanks!

How much hosting space/bandwidth/etc do you get on that site, Preppy? Looks like a lot! How much do you pay a month?

King: Because of all the influx of pre-ECCX/ECCX quals + TS5 footage, I’m currently hosting 5GB of content - here’s the stats (2.6M hits, 4.8TB served, ~600GB of monthly transfers). Normally I just host 4GB of content at $80 a month - 20 per GB. There’s an “About Hosting” link on my page anyways.
LSeelba: I look back at the post I made and reckon that nobody enjoys a good SMILE anymore. 
(I didn’t figure I’d widely link to it until Lay has a chance to put up the order form.)
Alphastorm: What else should I have? I personally find CvS2 dreadfully boring, 3S I’ve seen before, and the non-CapCom stuff I just don’t really find interesting - and people are dicks about the footage anyways, so I’m typically asked not to share footage. Aaaaanyways, from Texas Showdown 5, I just recorded Marvel. At ECCX I might try to make arrangements to tape non-Marvel stuff, but … it’s just not fun or interesting taping/watching it for me, and then I have to go spend more time editing it… zzzzz.

^-- I run my website off of the local Internet hub that I believe even Microsoft gets service from. So I’m just a drop in their bucket.
And to be clear, I get free bandwidth, but pay per GB for hosting. But $80/month is pretty reasonable to me.

Unfortunately, we are only selling complete DVD sets this year, due to a number of mishaps. Maybe you can get together with someone on the forum, and have someone purchase the DVDs you don’t want.
For the curious, here’s what made the 2 Marvel DVDs (I just got mine in the mail today - and thanks zillions for getting me back those miniDV tapes, Lay :tup:). I haven’t looked at the other discs yet. Nestor using Cyke-ground assist and winning is pretty amusing.
