Crowd noise: No.
Drunk BAS: I believe that’s him - there’s around 2hrs of random footage like that that I see.

All games on console were directly captured through a DV deck (which is even higher quality then dvd recorder since there is still a loss of quality on mpeg2 although it’s almost undetectable to the naked eye) The quality of the master tapes were simply amazing unfortunately I cannot sell those. But in terms of technology right now this is as good as it gets. Who knows what’s going to happen next year, Widescreen + High Def maybe?
Did you give any copies to Cmutt? Cuz I want to get one and I know your not always at SG. So if I could get one from Cmutt whenever I go down to SG that’d be tight. I think it’d be convinient for alot of SG peeps that haven’t picked one up as well.
Actually, last year’s DVDs read best on PS2 and only certain DVD players could read them. They were so poorly done, it was kind of obvious that they were rushed.
I had an awful lot of problems with those DVDs. NOTHING could play them, not even my DVD drives… That’s until i removed those damn stickers, then everything was perfect.
Can someone confirm if these DVDs have stickers on them?
Okay to clarify a couple things about the Texas Showdown DVDs that are different then last year.
No more stickers, this year all the dvds are labeled with a printer that prints directly on the dvds.
The media used this year have excellent compatability, I’ve already sold more then 50 sets this year and didn’t recieve a single complaint so far.
Quality is much much better, a review will be up soon from nagata lock who pretty much owns every tournament dvd ever produced, he will give a full discription of the TS5 dvds and if he thinks is worth your money.
All this applies to the Texas Showdown 4 DVD set, new media no more stickers same compatability as the Texas Showdown 5 set.
Vanessa where you’ve been? The guys at SG misses you…
Well I just ordered the DVD’s but I got the big set which has I believe 2004 and 2005. Now I just have to wait, hopefully it wont take that long to get to Oklahoma.
