i’m not gonna lie just cause she wants to hang out with us nerds and i hiiiiiiighly doubt i’d want to get with a girl that really wants to hang with us (always exceptions to the rule of course)
My GF was one of the girls walking people down, I hope ya’ll ain’t hatin on her. All the girls who were walking the finalists were all friends of mine. I don’t really care if its honesty or just plain hate, ya’ll need to watch your god damn muthafuckin words.
Its nice that you guys arranged that. As for criticisms go, what did you expect? I, myself never said anything but any time anyone does does anything in front of the public eye, there will be some to criticize or make open their feelings. Being put up on a “platform” (aisle) means that they are open to criticism whether one likes it or not. Being put up there to escort someone i.e. to be eye candy means that people will evaluate their looks. And you know the SRK crowd isnt the most tactful crowd ever. . .
But yes, now that people are more aware of what you think, everyone should try to calm down.
Anyway…the DVD trailer looks pretty sweet. I like that it wasnt the usual blur of fast paced action. Having it a little slower made it stand out from all the other trailers. Nice job.
The DVD’s have combined footage Direct Feed and recording of the screens.
There were lots of good matches for all tournaments. The top 16 for 3rd Strike, MvC2, CvS2, and GGXX#r had lots of great matches, and on top of that you’re getting extra match footage, team tournament footage, as well as other games like Alpha 3 and King of Fighters 2002. Essentially, its $45 for 8 DVD’s of footage. For me, its still the best deal you can get in terms of tournament footage.
Last years DVD’s had problems being viewed on PS2’s, but they were rectified in later versions. I still think last years DVD’s were great, but this years DVD’s are better.
As for #2 yes buy that damn thing. I was there and there was SO MANY GOOD MATCHES. Its definatly worth the buy anyone who tells you other wise diserves a slap and a kick in the ass from Ranma.
Co-sign again on the quality - and I’ll add that it looks like they did straight full uncompressed source to MPEG2/DVD, so the images are really really sharp.
