Any of you gamers out there into puzzle games? Any played Tetris Attack? Got the ROM? I’ve got it, and I’m looking for challengers…I’ve got netplay, so hit me up! Never played over the 'net against someone before 'cept for that one weird X-Men vs. SF game…Here’s some 'caps of me playing the game on endless and against the computer on hardest difficulty.

One more screencap…PoKMoN Puzzle Challenge was played the exact same way…‘cept they threw in a new 3-D option. I remember getting a X32 skill chain there…whew…! Contact me through AIM, PM, e-mail…whatever! Jes’ lookin’ for a challenge…

Back when my friend brought it over to my crib when I was lil’…my ass got handed! But after an hour of playin’ it…I thought I was the shit 'cuz I could beat my friend! LoL Then, I didn’t play the game again 'til I bought it! I couldn’t touch the computer in the time trials on max difficulty…too many skill chains! So I toughened up in endless, and my personal best was damn near 30K in two minutes…Wish I had a pic of that! These 'caps were taken from the ROM I DL’ed. Still looking for competition!

Tetris Attack and Magical Drop without a doubt are the two single most addictive puzzle games ever created.
ts probably wierd to other people why you would post screen caps of something they would see as so pointless, but they dont understand. Its seriously that addictive. And when you play with people who are also good its like fuckin crack… you cant get enough of it.
I highly recomend that if you play one, but not the other, you go play the other one. They are both great. Just wish I could find a cab with magical drop… anyone with info? I might actually buy it if some one knows of any that are still around.

S’good to know that some people know of the greatness that is Tetris Attack…Also heard they’ve got a title coming out for GameCube…with classic games…and they’re bringing back Tetris Attack but in a different form. This time, you got a fairy as your mascot versus the ever great Blargg or other favorite Yoshi characters. I believe the title for that particular game within the others is Panel de Pon? There’s some 'caps out somewhere…It may seem quite fruity looking, but yo…you’ll still get just as big of a rush as if you’re playing any other fighting game out there!

The Panel De Pon on Gamecube is a graphically semi-updated version of the Super Famicom version. The only other difference is that there is a four player versus mode. The game has the same feel to it as the N64 Pokemon Puzzle League.
I was wrecking shop for awhile on zbattle.net in TA, but I’ve been away from it for quite awhile (2-3 months?) If the zbattle servers are up, you should try there. There’s usually 1-2 people online all of the time that want to play vs mode.

Many thanks for the compliment! I’ve tried playing at the default speed (5) and up, but I jes’ couldn’t keep up…I can only get a x10 if I’m lucky. It’s not as consistent with the lower speeds. But yeah, that lag madness’ll get on anyone’s nerves! I was watching my friend play Halo on his laptop, and…well…can you say leaping Scorpions?
I need to get that. How do you netplay it caues I have spnt more time playing that game and PPL on 64 more that any type of games. Fighters and RPGs are cool but Puzzle and rts’s are where its at.

In Japan, it was always a fairy. It’ll be interesting to see if they switch it to Mario characters again whenever it comes stateside. With Dr. Mario and Tetris on the same pack, you know thats a sweet puzzle game…but where’s Wario’s Woods update? That game is underrated.
Wario’s Woods? How’s that played? I’ll be back in Raleigh soon…Can’t wait to play Tetris Attack again…! Recently beat X-2 with 68% complete @ lil’ over 40 hours. ::sighs:: Much, MUCH love to my girlfriend for getting me the game…

What up to everyone that’s been responding to my thread…I’ve got another screenshot showing my current personal best high score in the time trials versus a computer opponent on difficulty 7 with speed at 1. This is from my emulator; my personal best on the console is 31029; no picture to back it up though…:bluu:

To Asccort: About the puzzle, do you mean the first one’s hard, or the whole thing in general? I solved the first one already so far. 
I’ve beaten the first two so far…I’ll put up pictures for for the solution of the first puzzle in my next post…This stuff really is tough!
