JD its 2 funny what people “TRY” to do to a successful tournament cause there not apart of it. Mvc2 drama is entertaining to me. All good though. No big deal. Just so everyone would know. I love money matches and tournaments. Been doing this for 2+years now. Reason why I love mm is because it provides the players to play at there best and the more money is on the line the best they will play. Its super entertaining when its like that. Toan vs Fanatiq 1 & 2 was probably the best high level mvc2 footage I have ever seen outside of the top players playing in grand finals all the time. Cant make everyone happy or like me. Just got to do your best as a tio to make your tournament successful regardless of what others say. No need to explain myself cause my actions always speak louder than my words. 1 week left until all hell brakes loose in this Cali vs Texas madness. Normally I get anywere from 14-20+ mvc2 players everytime. I hope to break that record with this tournament. Since this tournament is being sponsored with a Free Flight to Gamme, things should get interesting. Shin-Rotendo had a good point when I was talking to him and wanted to know if someone would be interested in bringin a livestream setup. If not, everyone will have to wait till all media/footage to be uploaded to mvc2.tv . Please “NO YOUTUBE”. Mvc2 has its own youtube/community now! I know carnevil said he will bring his recording setup but thats for matches only. The venue provides us with 2 dsl cables so 1 for hobo/brawl and 1 for tys/cali vs texas. If anybody is interested in bringing there setup, would be appreciated and you will be compensated. Just let me know ahead of time =). Also, 1 more announcement is on the way so stay tuned…

If there’s one thing I’ll say it’s that I am totally against this tournament if ABK says there is going to be 200+ players or w/e and tons of spectators. I saw the video and theres no way he can draw a crowd like that without getting a large following from every fighting game-heavy state in the country. ABK, I mean you’re an alright guy but claiming youll have a huge turnout just to bait top players into coming is like totally criminal, metaphorically speaking of course, and you should be ashamed of yourself. I mean i’d bet that like 4 ppl are gonna show up, and one of them is probably going to be hotel security asking wtf you guys are doing in their utility closet. I know this comes off as mega hate, but trust me everyone when I can vouch for sure that this tournament is not going to come even close to having 40 people there, and for all the top players and followers of the hype marvel scene: you will not be getting what you want out here. I mean the best way I can explain it is like this: When I went to absolute battle a few months ago with ruin, neo and fanatiq there was about 100 people total at the venue, with an average of 40 people in the room at any time (about 3-4 people in marvel and rest between SF4/other games), and the reason it reached 100+ people was because of toan / fanatiq 50k money match took place. We created that hype on our own, and to expect that AirBrushKing is going to deliver anything even microscopically close to that is a gigantic huge disaster of a joke. So Airbrushking you really should post actual facts about what you will deliver to the public, because people don’t care about your bonuses or random other claimings about what will be at the tournament: PEOPLE WANT A LARGE TURNOUT - it’s not going to happen stop being delusional. I mean if I cared at all about marvel I’d just host some huge ass tourney where I pay like top 4 or something like 3k 2k 1k 500 200 and get everyone to show up - but hell man the last time I did something for all these fuckers I got ass-bet out of $100 when someone lost to me, so fuck everyone

This is completely wrong. I caught up to brawl numbers so were 50/50 now. The people that know me from running tournaments know that I get over 100+ players every month. Used to be 60/40 meaning 60/brawl 40/my turnout + spectators but im growing so now its 50/50 + spectators. This will be a large turnout and as stated before, we had over 200+ players in the building 1 time before so I want to see if we could break this record again. Nobody is making numbers up cause I posted the link were you can see in details on how many players were there and what entered tournaments. As far as baiting players to come. No need to do that! Let me explain: Neo posted a while back ago and said that he wanted to play buckethead or anybody from texas for 500$-1k. I told him we can do that but buckethead is retired so the person that plays and is on his level is rudy. So the match was sealed. Reset posted and said he wanted to come along. I said well I can promise you that there will be players there that are down to mm you and you could possibly win the tournament. That sealed that deal. I said I would house cali to cut out the hotel cost so they could spend more money in money matches and sidebets. Anybody else that is coming is on there own meaning nothing is promised as far as mm’s goes. Let me explain 1 more thing hevad, texas has a huge marvel community, people think i just use srk to get my attendance which helps but my main promo is outside promo. I hit up all the malls/arcades and pass out flyers to generate a new scene/players. Thats the main reason why I get large turnouts and new players. If all of texas was in the same building for mvc2 now not back then, we would have over 30+ players just for texas alone. So as far as the other stuff you said goes, numbers dont lie and I will prove that with the numbers from cali vs texas!
