TEs not working on new laptop

I just got a new HP laptop today, and I went to go play a game with my BlazBlue TE, Windows installed the driver automatically but it doesn’t pick up any button inputs, my MvC2 TE has the same problem. They both worked fine on my old 32 bit XP

I’m running Windows 7 64 bit.

Are there any fixes or am i boned?

This will tell you why.

@jdm, thats dumb, so theres no way to make them work that doesn’t involve taking apart my laptop =/?

thats just for ps3 TE’s right? 360 ones just plug and play into most windows xp and up pcs…i think?

Older PS3 TEs are incompatible with certain chipsets like nVidia and AMD. I believe the Chun Li TE is the first PS3 stick to work with any motherboard chipset.

If you’re not against modding it, replacing the PCB with a Cthulhu or PS360 PCB will get it to work on both your laptop and PS3.

Note any intel mobo you plug this into just about your PS3 stick will work it’s just mostly AMD Specific problem that i’m aware even a few of my older computers that are intel pentium 2’s etc pick up on the stick but i have two PCI Adapters for my good computer builds.
