Those four counts are misdemenor offenses. In most states, misdemenors usually result in probation. In her case, the four counts will probably be lumped into one and she will be given a sentence of probably one year at the max. She has already served three years in jail so she will most likely be walking out of the courthouse a free woman Thursday.
Welp, I’m going to call Malco and demand that we get a Tekken Movie screening here in Memphis. Wish me luck.
(Actually they sounded receptive to the idea, I just need to talk to a particular person in management who just happened to be out of the office when I called. I’m calling back in an hour.)

1pm - SF3 3rd Strike: Arcade, American sticks, WINNER TAKE ALL.
5pm - MVC3: Xbox 360, 2/3 rounds, 2/3 games
SF4AE and MVC3 will BOTH be double elimination, 3s will be single.
FEES:
$5 cover, $5 entry fee for both SSF4AE and MVC3, $1 entry for 3rd Strike
Your cover fee also nets you all day play on the setups for casuals as well!

Just out of curiosity, why is there a cover AND 10% taken out?
The cover lets you play all day. You are paying for an all day pass…or atleast that was what i always took it as.

Welp, no go for Malco Tekken screening in this area. I dunno, maybe if we called them en masse to request a screening it may get looked at, but as far as they are concerned at the moment there is not enough interest.

Edit: Now, on further inspection, how well would a Tekken screening actually DO here in Memphis if it was shown for a weekend? I ask because I saw Princess Mononoke in theaters here, and there couldn’t have been more than 30 people in the audience.
Don’t get me wrong I’d love to drum up enough demand to get a screening here, but is it actually feasible for Malco on a monetary basis, given the amount of supposed interest.
I’ll close with this; when the guys and I drive down to Tupelo to see this flick, and there is a near-full theater, I’ll be pleasantly surprised. If it’s a near-empty theater, I won’t be terribly surprised …
Well remember how many people were at Josh’s apt for the 5v5? Like over 20 and that wasnt even all the Tek players in town that I know of. If all the local tek players showed up along with the Wastings people, PP/Hastings advertised to randoms I could easily see it being 50+ people. Not saying thats enough to get the theater its money back or anything but I cant imagine Tupelo getting more asses in seats for something like this than Memphis.
