That would be nice but without any real promotion it’s not going to happen… Posting it on SRK is nowhere near enough, you need to promote locally and more so than anywhere else and make sure that people know that it’s “Game Galaxy” that is running it cause at this last MWC people just assumed it was a bunch of random guys that put it all together… And I dont blame them cause it didnt say GG anywhere cause the only thing posted was the SBO poster outside of the venue.
Maybe you could get a hold of the small Nashville papers (Not the tennessean although that would be nice) and just check to see if they would be interested in running a story about GG and how you are trying to keep the arcade scene alive in Nashville against all odds (Recession, arcade scene dying, etc.), they eat those stories up.
Just a thought but like I said you’re gonna have to be much more active in promoting this if you really want to get 100 people or more (Hopefully much more) to attend the next MWC.
