Well, I was going to come in and rant about “HOLY SHIT, FREDDY KRUEGER IN MK9?” but that got totally eclipsed by the announcement for a new Darkstalkers!
I was thinking Flymike and I could die happy, until Ono turned around and did this shit:
God I hate Ono. But at least I’ll get to see BB Hood again!
New Darkstalkers!? Wow. Yet another likely awesome upcoming fighting game that I need to try to squeeze in time to play.
Hugo in SFxT is pretty sweet. I’m hoping Capcom doesn’t stop with just Hugo and Poison in terms of putting in some of the more obscure characters (ie: those not in SSFIV). Also, Cody and Guy’s entrance in that trailer is pretty badass.
Darkstalkers hell yes. SF X TEkken was going to be boycotted but now Poison got drug into it that went out the window. I will main Poison with no fear.
Well I have been off the intrawebs for about a week, and I just had to turn away from the computer screen and calm myself I am so hype right now. New Darkstalkers, Strider in UMvC3, SF x Tekken looking more and more hype, not to mention Josh posting real time photos of GG. Just too much hype coming through the computer screen right now.
Also slaws, seeing that I can already beat dream killers like Eraser in convincing fashion in Marvel, with wonderful characters such as Strider and Hawkeye in, I shall go hard in the paint with this Ultimate version! Yeah piss on Capcom for milking us for more monies, but I can’t help but skip like a third grade school girl when I think about how annoying these two characters can be. My kinda play style too! Super hype right now!
Wow so much news today, its almost as if Comic Con were a fighting game convention rather than a COMIC convention. Most of this stuff should have been announced at EVO honestly. I mean they’re even going to have panels and shit this year for Christ’s sake.
A speedrun of Super Mario Land 2 for Game Boy. It’s basically the matrix. Once you get out of the “normal level” it keeps loading data to display but now the data isn’t level data but other types of data. The game keeps displaying it as a level because that’s what it expects to be loading and each block is the visual representation of a byte of memory. Going down the rabbit hole you’ll eventually get to RAM where there are variables like “did the player beat the game”. Smashing the “block” that stands for that variable changes its value.

The Grid. A digital frontier. I tried to picture clusters of information as they moved through the computer. What did they look like? Blocks, Turnips? Were the circuits like freeways? I kept dreaming of a world I thought I’d never see. And then, one day…WEPHGawpiejgpdg[JSD[GJKaed[mjaG[MJeg[omjG
So, any weekly meetings around the Memphis area? I live about an hour a way, and I’ve been craving to get a few matches in with some good players. Batesville only has CoD and Madden jackasses running around.
