This thread on the xenforo site seems to suggest otherwise. I’d like to know what Jaxel did and pass it along to the admins, because this will cause a shit storm otherwise.
I was just going to register a domain and have it redirect to my SRK sale thread. It’s way cheaper.

Yeah, I do believe that xenforo doesn’t have much unless you have code mods for it. And a lot of the ones we have, I think, are ones that he programmed himself. Maybe he’ll be helping with the transition? I wouldn’t be surprised, but I’d havta ask. Mr. Wizard comes to 8WR from time to time, I am told.
Okay, since it’s looking like a we are gonna have a ton of people at the ranbat tonight, I want to reiterate a few things:

Hastings closes at 10PM now, so be ready to pack up and clean up before that time.

Try to keep the noise level manageable, I know Marvel is hype and all, but we are still in a public area, so please try not to be yelling FUCK so that you can be heard across the store.

Please pay attention to the rules for the casual setups, lets have a steady rotation going on. The more people that get to play, the better.

Ppl might as well bring their beach towels with them cause there’s gonna be so much saltiness going on that it’s gonna smell and taste like the atlantic ocean up in there lol Me i stopped giving a shit about this game and taking it serious so i just play it for fun and laugh at the stupid shit that happens. That’s a bad thing for many cause it means i’m getting better because of it haha!
I’m also running a stupid ass random team for ranbats so i wont be playing my main team so nobody has to worry about gay mags/wesker tactics but i am playing mags for sure. See ya in a bit!

Actually Krit, I looked at five or six threads at 8wayrun and none of them have animated avatars in them. Can you show me a few examples? I wanted to have some examples to show people to quell their doubts.

I highly recomend not using ratings at all. Instead identify some key metrics which actually mean something.
for example here are some basic concepts… these could be made much more concise i’m just not being paid for this so i’m not putting in too mugh 
experience density
deviation from conventional standards
comparison of experiencial quality versus similar titles
cultural significance (all frat boys are playing this. if you own a pink polo you should play it too)
niche appeal (while some rpgs blah blah ronely boy this one allow you to share with friends blah blah)
lifestyle requirements (this game is pick up and go or… to really appreciate tis title expect to lose your girl)
etc etc, hit these kinds of points in your summary.
I know all of the arguments for rating systems and if you want to discuss any of them I’ll have an argument against it.
Shows have ratings for the same reason developers are forced to write the same shitty game over and over. because pueple are forced to compromise integrity and quality for money.
There’s a new wave of success out there for people who do things well and buck trends.

Yeah i love me some BLands. Got all the expansions back in Steam winter sales. I’d still be playing it now if my computer’s harddrive didn’t fail. Hooray for tax return though…gonna build a baller ass futureproofed machine…
Also thanks for the heads up on the server change. Let us know what you find regarding animated avs. I am going to save mine regardless, but I will be quite upset if I cannot crank up the BASS once we move to the new server.

As far as content. Peeps have already touched on it. Unbiased reviews and a good rating scale are key. Also if you are going to show gameplay and shit, have someone that actually like, knows how to play the game play it when you capture the footage. Watching someone suck ass at a game is a hard sell even if you are giving it a good review.
