FlyMike: The PS3 port of TTT2 has input lag or both that and XBOX 360?

EDIT: Never mind, I read up on it…if all 3 versions play the same and it was meant to be this way that’s the way it is…

I got in this same argument about PS3 SF being closest to “arcade” when the XBOX 360 version did not have input lag like the PS3 version has…

However, if arcade/ps3/360 of TTT2 all are universal (running one frame slower) it shouldn’t matter…

I know one thing, I may not be Mr. Tekken but I don’t really feel anything on TTT2 but I sure as hell feel lag when I play any 2D game on laggy monitor or circumstances similar

Why didn’t I play wolverine sooner he’s easier than zero…

just a heads up:

Gameshark is having a huge sale on arcade sticks some for 89.99.

Also if you havent picked up TTT2, walmart has it for 25 on ps3 and 360.

Jason, it’s universal for all console systems. I HEARD that Namco added slight input delay so that it would make the online netcode seem flawless by comparison.

But we only felt the delay from playing T6. No one has actually flatout confirmed that arcade TTT2 has or doesn’t have the lag as well. And if it does, then it’d just be respected as how TTT2 is.

But for console it’s definitely there. But we’ve been playing long enough now that we SHOULD be punishing or reacting to things quicker to compensate and it should be muscle memory by now. But I still have moments where I’m lax and don’t even properly punish usual shit “on time” like Lars u/f+3. Using the visual cue from T6, if I input d/f+2 the same time as I used to, he’ll be able to block my launch. Because of the time it takes certain stuff to register now. But if I react and input my d/f+2 right after the block, when that fool is still descending from the air, it’d perfect punish. Like how I should’ve been punishing in T6. But it was a window where you could’ve been lazy about it.

For some, it’s just about undoing muscle memory and stuff from T6. But if you’re just now playing/learning/punishing, it should be nothing.

Just feels slow. Even offline. I mean, I SEE the Aking d/b+3 coming, I try to hold db, and nuttin happens. I’m sure I’m just slow, but it really takes you being on your toes. Also couldn’t break throws for shit this past fight night. Worse than usual.

So how well does the Wii U version play?

Sorry I haven’t been to fight night in a while, needed a break from fgs. I’ll be back soon though. Are you guys still playing GG? I know Adrian will play all day, but what about the rest of you guys?

And Nashville guys, I might be stopping by Game Galaxy next week.

Maybe, that’s it. In T6 I had to wait until Lars landed from uf3 to hit him with my launcher or else I’d get get a float instead. Now when I wait til he hits the ground he gets to block my shit. It was puzzling, I thought it was online lag but then it happened when I played dimo offline.

@ Abe: Yea but most of the issues you have are some kind of mental blocks. Reactions will become better/faster the more you play.

@ Kigai: Sorry. Don’t know a thing about that system or the TTT2 port besides it has mini-games.

@ Ian: Lol yea that’s what it is. So tomorrow, PLEASE launch as soon as you recover from blocking. Because Terrence will do that shit again asap lol.

Happy late Thanksgiving wishes to all of the TN crew. Hope ya’ll are doing well.

Quiet you deserter.

Sent from my bawlz via my massive shaft. (lololololololo)

Regularly get my but kicked in GG by Rukus when played at fight night but have the game with me when im there. ill play ya. Been working on both versions of venom as of late.

Anybody wanna purchase a Round 1 TE stick and a MvC2 TE stick? The joysticks on each of them have some wear and could probably use replacing. Buttons are fine on both as far as I know. Looking to get $60 for each and as a bonus I’ll thrown in the old parts from my Hori VX SA i got last year.

I’ll definitely be at K.I.T. in January. And I’m gonna have a vacation during the beginning of Dec. I’ll be off from the 9th through the 14th. Gotta work those Saturdays on the ends. What to do, what to do…

Also Sunstone don’t bother with the EX Characters if you plan to play competitively. They’re banned and not worth learning other than for just playing around. I think EX Potemkin has an air dash, so yeah, broken stuff like that. Stick with the regular cast.

Kinetik, yeah, you already know I’ll be playing. The Mike of Flight will play every so often. Ernie is definitely down, just not sure how often he’ll make it out. Dax has expressed his interest in the game, I see promise in his future. Johnny Lu might drop combos in it. Bishop might get in if he’s not already at 152. Not sure who else is willing to invest time in it though. The old Gearheads have mostly lost. Rell and Marcus are Tekken-focused right now. Not sure if the PS3 release or the +R revision will pull anybody out of the quicksand of current fighting games. But, obviously, I’m excited. I mean, when was the last time I typed such a long post on here?

Gear is currently being played by about 15 or so people in Nashville. Almost all of the Blazblue guys here, including myself, are playing it and the old geezers Tad and Phil are also playing again. Gear isn’t dead in TN!!

Oh good, so the Dec 8 tournament will have GEar players then? =)

Dirty Bomb, I’ll take both of the sticks

Wish I could make it to the tourney… My vacation starts the next day and I have a prior engagement to attend. But it does my heart good to hear that Gear is being played. I’m sure General is somewhere shedding a tear and saying something so random that Eugene would have to stop and say “What?”

Beware, new players, Gear cannot be enjoyed by those with Stupid Fingers, but those chosen by the Guilty shall find euphoria in landing Gold Burst combos, surviving block strings with Faultless Defense and Instant Killing A.B.A. after knocking her down 3 times.

Correction… retarded fingers as my younger cousins would say. 8)
