nah zizzay I admit yours it’s probably better especially since you’ve been way more commented to marvel while I’ve been off and on. I never said I was the best Vergil just better than james

Crown stick just shipped today…It’s about to go down

4 steps for feeling like a boss in MGR:R

  1. Play MGR:R
  2. When boss sends minions at you, do a running slide sweep (RT+Y)
  3. While minions are still in the air and you are still on your back, go into sword mode, slice them ALL in their sweet spot, and steal their guts.
  4. Feel like a boss.

So… what do you guys play at fight night other than UMvC3 nowadays? I figure I can come early and play MTG, and once that’s over I could join the fighting games…

This past week it was Marvel, SF4AE and TTT2.

hmm… I might have to pick up a copy of ultimate or something… Haven’t touched Marvel in eternity, would be willing to learn SF4AE though if someone had the patience to teach me :stuck_out_tongue:

(muh blazblue, muh guilty gear, muh mortal kombat, muh SSBMelee, )

Learn Tekken. You already have a Capcom game on your slate in Marvel.

I don’t like Tekken

I’ll play SFxT on PC from time to time just to be different (and because I actually like the game), but I play Marvel as well. It’s been a while since I’ve played AE though, but there’s plenty of people there that still play it. I also play a lot on portable systems as well.

So why reply to this comment instead of the earlier ones? Well…

Tekken fanboys rage in 3…

1…

Blasphemy!

Called it.

Quick!! Get the rosary and the holy water… his poor soul needs to be cleansed!

We don’t need that yet. Now if dude likes SFxT then we’ll need that and a exorcist because you ain’t right in the head and need to be cleansed if you like that game

A poster on THE SF thread worried about the tekken fanboys…Mike must be shedding a tear for this. Now all thats left is for everyone to pick up and play Guilty Gear as their first or second game so Rukus can die happy…sorry buddy some things are just not meant to be

But…but they fixed it guys really its so good …ahahahah wow I cant even type that mess. They should have let that thing die already and now with the “fixes” its gonna be around for another year and tourneys…boo

It’s all good, in a year or two they’ll make a brand new HD true-to-form Guilty Gear and everybody’s going to jump on it and be happy because it’ll be just as technical as the previous iterations and people won’t complain about it being too easy. Wait… People will complain whether it’s too easy or too hard? Fuuuuuu…!!!11!!1!

Man, I can’t wait to play SFxT as long as knives don’t crash the game when colliding with hadokens, Megaman doesn’t jump off the screen forever, the art style has changed, characters are more true to their respective play styles, DoubleFine develops the patches for it, there’s a Konoha Village stage from the new Naruto game, and Remy is in it and is top tier. Not too much to ask right?

SFxT is like a piece of crap. You can dress it, out make up on it, clean it, but guess what? It’s still a piece of crap and no one likes pieces of crap and you should be ashamed of yourself for liking a piece of crap. Oh and I played 2013 and I can confirm that it still sucks and is the most boring fighting game to play or watch ever, period, end of story, nothing to do here, move along and go play good games like tekken or king of fighters XIII.

All of you Tekken and GG fanboys need to get on that Marvel crack baby!!! Hell play some MVC2 even!!! Marvel… It where it’s at!!!

This is almost like the great Doug vs Gabe SFxT Feud of 2012, except without the self-awareness.

Couple things, Jerry.

The great majority of players who dislike SFxT have played it at a competitive level. I myself was a huge proponent of the game for a good while. I played it with Maxninja and several others over a long period of time, before realizing the essential failings it had as a game. Take my word for it that it’s kinda ass. You have played me in SFxT and SF4, so you should see that I wasn’t playing it at a casual level. It’s not methodical enough to match AE, not wild enough to match Marvel, and not in depth enough to match Tekken.

Secondly, I learned it’s a mistake to even say Tekken “fanboy”. Those don’t exist. Only Tekken players do. Fanboys get beaten into the ground and out of the scene. Unless you live in a bubble and play only against capo or Law scrubs, you will find it difficult and frustrating to stick with the game without investing time and effort into the fundamentals. If you play vs anyone who knows how to play the game, well, you are going to lose. In a frustrating manner. All these make it so that I think you can’t really be a fanboy with Tekken. You play it, or you don’t. Really.

Edit:

@Max, Josh, Etc: Any of you guys planning to be online today? I really want to play some tekken.

There was nothing “great” about that. More like epic letdown.

I think I need to use hashtags. Like #sarcasm, or # tongueincheek.
