I just quick get up and block D/B immediately when that happens
I dunno if it’s an online thing, but D/B does not seem to be coming out as quickly as it should be.
In the next few weeks I hope to be returning to the scene after this hiatus. I will be getting an Xbox again soon after the wii-u launch and will be trying to get back to posting and attending more tournaments.
Hey I’m in memfis from tx. I wana play mahvel. I don’t have inter webs so txt me 281 216 3679

I think I just saw Gumball pull of at least one move from each Shoto fighter. That was awesome!
Man, slow thread, huh guys? Anyone watch that Guilty Madness tournament?
That’s Tekken. I used to complain to Cody about that…blocking seems “off” in Tekken compared to Street Fighter, it’s almost as if you just have to get accustomed to it via muscle memory…
Oh and just an update on Tekken out here…
Absolutely NO ONE has played Tekken at Fight Night in the past 3 weeks.
I think the only people that play Tekken go to Charlie’s house on Fridays and I have played around 600 games online and still play it…
Richard quit and works all the time, Ragnarok lent his out to Zeth (have no idea where Zeth has been), Arson plays Marvel and SF again, Graham is working and has not been to fight night, Chris isn’t really playing anything, Pat plays Guilty Gear, that’s all I’ve got from the SF crowd…
No updates on moving to the mall “yet”; looks like we will be in this spot until at least January.
I’m just glad we finally got serious comp for marvel so I get to stay on top of a fighting game for once in a really long time.
Now if only we still had sf comp hmm.
Busting my ass at work.
I also have been on a Halo/COD high.

I’m so tired!
Read something interesting about low block in T6. Supposedly a “raw” duck takes 4~ frames. That’s just ducking into an FC in a vacuum.
However, supposedly when you are ducking an incoming high, or to reacting to a low attack, the FC state activates in only 1 frame, which allows high crush properties to take effect.
Therefore, I’m theorizing if the fastest way to low block is simply, D, THEN D/B. That way you duck first, then transition into the block. I wonder if that actually works faster…
You can low block just by holding D though…you don’t need to go to D/B
Saw some of tekken tag for wii u there’s a mode where there’s mushrooms on the screen that give you power ups. One of those makes your character big as fuck shit was hilarious to watch
Yeah they went all out for the new Mario box version of tag 2. Bryan has a damn captain falcon outfit lol

I saw a trailer last week for it on a Wii U demo station. Some of the other costumes include Hworang in a Fox McCloud costume and Nina in a Zelda costume.
Tekken!
What’s up Orel
Oh God, you guys are overanalyzing it.
Just do d/b to block lows. It’s as straightforward as that. Some lows you can’t even see to be able to react to. Couple this with the fact that you all are playing online, and it really comes down to anticipation more often.
There is no “science”. BDC’ing serves a purpose in this regard, also a weird variation of fuzzy guarding in some situation under certain pressure. But just press d/b if you SEE the low before it connects. Again, some of them, like Alex/Roger tailsweep, you won’t be able to see until you’re hit. Other lows, if you got hit, then you didn’t react fast enough. Some lows it’d pay to low parry instead of blocking because some are either safe on block or may leave you in a disadvantageous situation. Like Eddy sweeps.
And the console port of TTT2 has a slight input delay, but we’ve been playing it for awhile now so everyone should be accustomed to it. If you didn’t play T6 heavy, then it shouldn’t have been a problem anyway.
So my team in Tekken on both the PS3 and the 360 are the same rank. However it took me over 300 matches on the PS3 and less than 100 on the 360. 57% winning percentage on the PS3, 79.7% on the 360…just saying lol.
