Shawn, can you give me some tips for the Dhalsim vs Rufus matchup? It just doesn’t seem like I can do anything to close in. It’s like you have my timing down, and smack me every time I attempt to gain ground. Is there something that I’m missing?

Needed moar sonic boom. It seems like rog matches really suck for sim nevertheless, you make one or two mistakes and you have a substantial life disadvantage.

Don’t be in a rush to get in. Jump straight up and wait for me to throw something out, while that’s recovering dive kick and jump in again to gain ground. Do far jump ins with jumping fierce. Delay dive kicks to make me whiff anti airs.
Raven or Boom Cube probably have better input on this than I could offer.

EDIT: Shawn did you ever get the HDR pvr for streams? Would be amazing to have an HD stream up :D. If you do you gotta teach me how to use it to stream, I purchased one a while back (darn thing broke had to RMA it), tried doing a stream with it, but I could never figure out Flash Media encoder, or the other program required to upload it to JUSTIN.tv, Ustream may be different. The main problem I had with ustream was that you couldn’t just use it as a video and audio source for whatever reason, and I REALLY didn’t wanna purchase their pro version just to do local streams.
Is anyone else bringing a setup to hastings?
I’ll be streaming the tournament on the 3rd live with my HD PVR. The stream itself won’t be in HD due to bandwidth limitations.
At this point I do not think we will have enough equipment to have the event. I am CANCELING tomorrow night’s gathering at Hastings. I’m sorry, but let’s just aim to have a better turnout next week. I apologize for canceling, but I think this will be for the best.
It’s ONLY canceled for this this week though, we will have fight night again next week, during the regularly scheduled time at Hastings.
Um next Wed is the day before we leave for Evo and we leave at 7 the next morning. I know I wont be there for that and I doubt O or Squab will be either.

I can’t remember if we talked about it or not, but I was wondering if I would crash at your place Weds night to make coordinating things easier. I’d also like to leave my car at your house while we’re gone.

Good point, it slipped my mind. In that case I will talk to the boss at Hastings to see if they would be okay with having peeps over there next Wednesday night without me there to keep tabs on things and clean up.
