All in All, I think the Nashville v Memphis MMs should be fun. From the short time I have been in the scene, it is to my knowledge that Nashville is consistently better than Memphis. But I think Nashville will be kinda surprised because people here have been leveling up so you guys may be slick salty after the matches! Indeed we shall see.

O excuse the Nashville people for FR for also placing in the top 40. Not only that, but some of our guys were taken out by top players, one was taken down by Google and JWong. So yeah. 4 Nashville people also made top 40 in FR, and Shawn is good, yes, but we all lose and win to each other. The winner’s light is not very stationary here in Nashville and it honestly goes to different people many times. We’re also improving like crazy. We are ONE scene still, and in the words of TNDoom, many of us are, if not becoming, whalers that are fishing for salmon. There’s only a few of us that can go to EVO this year, and I wish good luck, but it really seems like this thread is going from friendly competition to “BITCH MY SCENE IS BETTER!”

Also, this is no disrespect to wootsick, I just think if he’s this confident (and he’s not even the best player in Memphis) then these money matches should be a breeze, I mean, how hard could everyone be to play against? We don’t even know what we are doing. Sheesh everytime I win against anyone I just look at the sky and praise Mr. Dash for putting the salt in my veins to press buttons that happen to hit people. I say again WE don’t live in Nashville, even though technically Josh WAS born in Nashville so does that put him on the Nashville team by birthright?? Josh is always happy to play anyone, it just gives him even more experience. I just don’t know that I am putting any money on it. If you all want to then go for it but we won’t be back until the 24th.

gdbell: Sorry man, I’ve played him before a bunch of times and I don’t know if you really want to put that $50 down on him without playing me yourself, or knowing previous history results between us, I have much respect for Cylus, don’t get me wrong…besides, this whole "Civil War thing isn’t about me, and I am not trying to make it about me, I am trying to get some hype between the two cities so everyone can be prepared and have something to look forward to at the SBO Quals (which is where I am thinking this will take place on Jul 24…

Cylus lives hella far, so the 24th has be one of those do I REALLY want to drive 5+ hours ordeal, but I think he has to come to Game Galaxy once…

Also gdbell, the last Memphis players to come down here that play SF were Majin, Bishop, Lycan, and Squabbler…Majin got 2nd only to Shawn in the last tournament, and I have said the three best players there are Cylus, Majin, and WootSick…and IMO that is the order I would put them there…

This is all about hype and rivalry between the two cities, so this HAS to be Memphis vs Nashville vs anywhere else, not same city vs same city…

Funny thing is that I was thinking about that but those guys in Knox REALLY never ever travel @ all (not including Josh).

There are a few guys who have never been on the forums that would give a lot of people some trouble but I know they wouldn’t come. Ideally it would look like this for Knox:

How can you say W00tsick can beat Charlie’s Guile, SLA’s Dudley/Gouken, Chris’ Bison, and Eugene’s Fei Long when you HAVEN’T EVEN SEEN THEM PLAY BEFORE? I can understand people making their arguments, but it would be nice if the person knew what they were talking about. Although I ***do ***believe W00tsick and all those guys would make for great matches, its kinda dumb to spout off that he’d go and clean them out without even knowing who half those guys even use in the first place.

…and as for the Cylus vs Dream thing. You have never even seen Dream play either. It’d be a fun match to watch though.

By they way: I want to money match you FT5 for .75 cents. Focus attacks and jabs only. Let me know.

If by “MM” you meant chocolate then yeah. Otherwise we’ll probably have to settle for a repetitive chorus of “Haha!” and “Vuo!” for free.
