That works well for inputting combos on memory but for the actual juggles you need timing and to be able to differentiate between 2nd, 3rd, and 4th areas of being in the air as the timing is not the same on them.

Grimstar was talking about 11 Force Lift but unless you jump in at someone there’s no one way you will blindly catch someone with that unless they just aren’t blocking. Ermac catches everyone in that Force Push (Away Towards 1) because of how strong it is. Most of the game can just be going back to basics.

Moreso in this game I would be wary of anyone watching combo videos for MK as the core of the game is going to be quick moves, mind games, and uppercuts. You can’t jump, and you have to know your spacing against projectiles and/or timing teleports/wakeups and know when and when not to use them…

O: you have improve A LOT in marvel since ranbats, some tips for your team (pretty sure Jas told you this already) use Akuma tatsu assist to rushdown with tri jump mix ups OR use the assist with L disruptor to keep rushdown characters like Wolverine out, master this and no one can touch you in marvel…except Wesker

Squab: learn to play marvel more cuz your’re getting good at it, just spam assists, cross up with Wesker, mash st. or cr. L and you will dominate

The thing I hate about that layout is how S is so far from M H after I do an air combo. It feels weird. I tried to make the button layout look like if it were on pad.

Edit: also I still suck with SRK motion on stick.

You don’t just pick up on a stick instantly unless you start on it. It takes time. It took me at least 4-5 months of constant play to get used to a stick again after an eight year stint of just playing on pad.

And the beauty of TvC style is you use your whole hand spread across the button panel for less wrist movement. Try spreading your hand out like this:
Thumb: S/A1/A2
Index: L
Middle: M
Ring: H

The result is your hand being used just as if you were typing, with your thumbs using the same motions you’d use to press space or ALT on a keyboard. It’s MUCH more ergonomic, and causes less wear on your hands and wrists.

I’m probably the only marvel player here that can actually play with mvc2 layout buttons effectively but then again i’ve been using that configuration for 10+ years so it’s only natural.

I’m having so much fun with it since i don’t really take it serious like that.Story mode is good IMO and Mileena is fun as hell,so far i got a basic 32% combo with her with no meter and a 40% combo with x-ray.Still experimenting with her.Any good higher damage combos with her i should know about?
I like how cage plays also,gonna mess around with him.
On a side note,pad is better for this game than stick IMO,at least ps3 pad haven’t tried xbox pad yet.
