I literally walked out of GS 5 mins ago the tourney still on at that one but its not in the memphis city limits so…
I just called the guy like a hour ago to see when it starts and he said they where all canceled
Just called again to make sure at a different Gamestop and they said everystore has a free copy to give away but they cant hold a tourny because of a lack of funds for it. So every store will give away a free copy randomly to someone who preordered it.

I guess they where supposed to send out more copys of the game so they could open those and use them for the tourny and resale them later but idk im just guessing. But no gamestop in memphis is having a tourny. I will Be buying my copy from Hastings tomorrow.

This video also makes me want to rethink the order of my team (again) and really use DHC glitch with the Dante/Wesker duo…sigh. I was really hoping to avoid using this trick to beat people.
I’m still on the fence with MK. If I do get it, I’ll be playing Johnny (for obvious reasons), Sub, Nightwolf, and Kabal, the same people I played in MK3.

What gets me is that they are going to open 4 copies anyways to put out on the shelf for display lol, theres your tourney copies. Pre-owned systems in the back = Tourney machines. TV’s running ads 24/7 = Tourney tvs. soooooo just chalk it up to them being lazy fucks I guess.
