dream, can you mess around with rose’s U2 and find out what exactly is different now. can she be thrown out for free on activation? does it straight up lose to a reversal EX shoryuken with no chance to block now, and if so, do the orbs stay??? i’ve seen in vids that she can get hit now and one orb will trade and the other will stay. is this only when she is hit upon startup, or does it last the whole length of the ultra?? so many questions!
Just tried Guile, he builds meter WAY slower, so you can’t win fireball wars anymore and have EX meter as much…his Sonic Hurricane damage was nerfed too…
Zangief hard to say, you can’t really press anything after EX Glove, you can trick into grab but there is a delay with the whole thing and since damage scaled down already, waiting and doing another jab XX into combo still doesn’t do much damage but EX Glove is not safe on block unless you FADC still…have to mess with him more…

We have one glitch we need to replicate, Gouken grab on Yun game ending froze the game after 2 jabs non teching grab…froze the game on the winner’s side.
Also, when we have 8 people, be prepared to pay the all day fee. We have two people in here that only want to play a few hours or are leaving soon and this is PRECISELY what I told everyone was going to happen, so no money and this only want to play a few games thing is inexcusable. The Tekken guys had to pay $10 an HOUR for months and we’re already getting this from a couple of players.
I agree with Dream though it’s time to man up and pay what needs to be paid both to play the game but also to help him recoup the cost of getting this in the first place…

LK SK can be used against grapplers like Hakan, T. Hawk, and Zangief as like a sort of poke if you aren’t predictable about it, at the right range it pushes you back mega far so that you are about start fight distance, allowing you to use it to get yourself away from the corner or push them to another.
Also, after LK SK due to the new pushback it’s harder to crossup with HP PC on hit although still possible, and it’s more ambiguous if you time it later or use another version. Making shoryuken whiff using it is still in although the timing is changed and I only did it once. Also, LK SK throws them really far back on hit, making it more usefull for sending people to the corner.
I didn’t try to find any new links, although I can confirm that headstomp still whiffs on backwalkers and DR still doesn’t crossup. I think it’s possible EX headstomp got nerfed as an anti-air, although there was only one situation where I was like, “That should have hit” and it didn’t. Needs more testing.
I also want to test to see if Shoryu’s can be safe jumped using the new distance and J. HK after LK SK. It used to work off of backthrows because of the distance, and it looks about the same for SK now.
Yup, Ken definitely feels a lot more like a complete character in AE. I’m gonna be bummed when I have to go back to console. Standing jab is truely godlike. And the 7 frame sweep? Who knew that one frame could make such a difference. Also, st. strong was stuffing (not trading) with a lot of things. I have a feeling Ken won’t be top, but he’ll still be very very strong. Overall, I feel like no one is overpowered although I haven’t seen the true potential of the new chars and every other chars changes obviously.
Memphis heads need to get up here and play this shit. It’s the hotness.

DJ looks very good, too. I didn’t play Super very much so I don’t know how much he’s changed, but you definitely need to watch out for him in AE. Know the match up, he’s not going to be top, but I think he’ll be better than Guile.
