Sure. I don’t mind. Dude I just noticed some fucked up shit in training mode. I noticed when ever the opponent’s life bar is like at 10-30%, Cammy’s combos do LESS damage. Wtf??? I’ve lost countless matches because of some guy sliding by with like literally 1-3% health left. Does this happen with all characters that you know of?

Justin, ALL COMBOS do less damage when the opponent is at low life, it’s another scaling thing in the SF4 engine. Try it with any other character, do a combo when they are at 100%, and the same combo when they are at 25%. It will do less damage the lower their bar is.
It happens with every character. When your opponent’s life bar dips below 50 percent attacks do slightly less damage. I think that’s right…

It IS a good idea. The purpose of the game is the power of the comeback and they designed it well.
Pretty much. I also have a theory that the game gives the player with less life a tiny damage buff. I think the theory is that scaling damage this way makes comebacks more likely, and gives the player who is down more of a chance to pull back into the game. Honestly, don’t let it bother you, plan your attacks and make sure you get the KO.
Yeah. I’m only joking. The game is designed nothing short of beautifully. I’ll pretty much swallow anything the friggin game can throw at me and just learn to get around it. Adapt and survive. Definitely not afraid of a challenge i.e. I main Cammy.
I agree whole heartedly. I’m slowly learning to apply that to my game and it’s pretty awesome.
