God yes. I still crouch tech OS just out of habit, but once I take a counter hit setup, I can stop and know the setups to look for instead of just smacking the buttons and hoping.

Every new thing I read about Gief just makes it looks worse and worse, apparently his advantage on spd is lessened so u have less after spd, land, lp green hand. Also most ranges of EX GH apparently not having u be in spd range is not good.
So is there going to be a fight night this weds coming up or what?

Opponents can’t grab you anymore on blocked EX GH, he kinda stops short. This makes me excited, because 1) spacing says I might be able to hit the tip of someones hitbox and be out of range of a combo starter, and 2) I don’t have to be sitting on 3 bars to do it anymore with having to FADC backward.
It’s going to be exciting man. Gief Jab spd looks scary, and I can’t wait to give it a go.

HUH? They added range to jab SPD and his EX Glove is now SAFE. Meaning you can do the combo, go into remix or just not get tossed afterwards unless I am wrong about that, but Gief is stronger now…I think you are just too used to glove knocking down and doing 50/50 afterwards…now against other characters you can do jab jab into who knows what…you’re losing it if you think Gief was toned down, LOL
Pretty sure glove isn’t safe if I’m wrong than hot damn but I haven’t seen anything saying otherwise and ya, I need to try and focus on more pokes and less mixups with him now.

I’ll have to remember to integrate BK more than Seismo in that matchup. I always figured since he has no projectiles I would be able to zone him somewhat. Safe jumping is one thing I have gotten down relatively well on him. Everything else you listed I pretty much need to work on.

You’ve gotta be VERY careful with BK in that match. If Bison sees it, I am pretty sure he can U2 you from anywhere on screen. woot, confirm?
Also, after I see a Viper EX Knuckle feint through my normal/meaty attempt I usually won’t do it again or will try to bait it out. Sometimes I’ll still forget and try it though.
Man, talk about cutting it down to the wire! Emergency Unemployment Compensation benefits have kicked in, meaning I don’t have to pack up and move to Jackson just to find a crappy job I don’t want. I can keep applying for jobs in Memphis now, in case I don’t get that one that called, and if I do I’ll have the money to move.
I need to try that more. I just hate feinting an EX move because of the meter. But if it lands me a good combo it’s worth it. I just don’t think about it often enough. Which reminds me I still need to practice SJC FADC… TO TRAINING MODE
