@Questions regarding Tourney in Clarksville:
It didn’t happen. Niggas don’t be showin’ up even when they tell me that they will. Which is fine either way, I played casuals for 12 hours and had a blast.
Edit: I’m probably going to to be staying at my friend’s house on Monday at the 'boro. If there is a potential gathering at the arcade for ssfiv on the consoles I’d like to know about it prior to my going there.
WOW,
these matches really are epic. I still remember when I 'didn’t even know what footsies meant. Not that i’m top tier at footsies, but both Eraser and I displayed some Godlike(I hate that term) footsies!
This has to be posted here. The TurBaconEPIC. A bird in a bird in a bird in a bird in a bird in a pig. The last count on that thing said 79,046 Calories, 6,892 grams of fat.
Some little things that occasionally work are well timed BACKWARD travelling burning kicks. Like you can do one as soon as the round starts and be safe from pretty much anything he throws as well as possibly catch a psycho crusher, and maybe a scissor kick depending on which one he does. Well timed neutral jumps over scissors can help you out as well
Basically I feel like you really have to watch your opponent, get a feel for how they play to try and avoid or interrupt pressure. And if you get the opportunity, create pressure of your own while trying to bait out obvious moves.
Seems obvious I know but the slightest bit of reckless aggression toward bison will just get you beat by pretty much anything he throws out.
Take everything I say with a grain of salt though because I’m the free-est viper this side of the… well anywhere really.
Bison vs. Viper = Viper doing literal backflips through flaming hoops and Bison smiling spamming HK.
Don’t do Fullscreen seismo. And PLEASE don’t do it as a meaty, it’s not viable meaty pressure, I see vipers do it all the time and I ultra on reaction, fake it if you even think about doing the motion.
Don’t glow(EX) outside of combos. My glow > your glow, so I glow when you glow.
Don’t wake up with HP TK, even if you see a jump, it’s easy to safe jump and Bison’s meaties go under it and are safe from all EX moves.
Don’t wake up with EX Seismo (unless you cancel it and immediately throw)
Don’t play footsies with Bison.
DO mixup with BK and seismo canceled blockstrings.
DO stay mobile and out of the corner.
DO Safe jump Bison.
DO punish Bison HARD for stupid things like Headstomp follow up, or non-LK SK.
That’s all I can think of running through my head for things I look for to punish viper for doing and what pressure I have to take.
You forgot to mention the ass beating you were taking by Cody as well
Also, thanks for having us over and congrats on the pregnancy bro. Being a father truly is a blessing, i know i have 2 of them little bastards
