No worries man, I did not take anything personal trust me. The characters I play can be very frustrating to fight against, like Abel lol. I guess my advice to you if you are playing ME, and I say this prolly only applies to me: Play lame vs the grapplers. Don’t overcommit to risks unless you are sure you will land the big damage payoff.
The way I approach, fighting me in a “smart” way actually backfires somewhat. If you take the obvious punishes, block too much or do moves that look safe, I can almost always convert into a combo that does a lot of damage if I have bar. I don’t know the guy’s name but he was the other Vice player, he was taking the grapplers out by landing many small hits. Air-to-air jump b, small hitconfirms, guaranteed safe chip etc. I’d get impatient and try to mount an offense, and he’d stuff it. The only time I got wins if if I made a smart read and converted, or if he overextended and I got the maximum punish. When he stuck to safe, lame play, he was a lot harder to beat.
Again I’m sure this prolly won’t help you vs Majin’s Clark, but for me that’s how I view it.

How would you guys describe the gameplay of Soul Calibur? Any thoughts on SC5? The only one I (barely) played was Soul Edge, and all I remember about it is that I played the nunchuck guy, and pressed a lot of nunchuck buttons and it seemed to work pretty well.
Basically, its mash buttons, do a juggle, and shoot people with Ezio. Day one purchase.
Scrub Calibur 5 is on it’s way, son!
Also, I can now honestly say that Skyrim is the only game I have said “Oh what’s up dragon bro, ready to get that butt tickled?!?” to. This game.

Justin: As you can see the biggest thing vs King is to slow down. She doesnt do that much damage if you stop running into her stuff. Just try and play very tight and convert on any hit on her. Your Kula is already annoying and getting worse I can see it
Majin: I doubt you will see this but either way good stuff. I know playing on that Xbox pad sucked. Those Athena traps are scary good
Maxninja: Glad to see a new person make it out man. Yeah King can be really annoying to fight against.

Curious. Why does everyone think SC is masher friendly? Because execution isn’t difficult? Sorry to say, but execution heavy doesn’t always = good game.

taptaptaptaptptaptaptapaptaptpat and he’s rolling on the ground and doing dragon kicks foot nunchuck strikes and going WATAHHH and shit. SC 2 you could put the controller behind your back, and only hit attack buttons and there was a good chance shit was going to connect and get you a shot at victory (this was tested and verified by 4 different people lol)

I have to say i’m improving really nice in kof, a few more months of this and i’m really gonna be a threat in that game. It’s gonna be hard to balance playtime once skullgirls comes out tho.
lol I welcome any Maxi masher to try and win legitimately against someone who knows the game. Mashing may beat the computer, but I highly doubt even a halfway decent player would lose consistently. Maxi has legitimate combos, you can’t just go mashing away and expect to get away with it, unless you’re fighting the computer or another masher/person who doesn’t know anything about the game. xD Also, SC has juggles, but isn’t heavily juggle-based, that’s Tekken. O=
I plan on just Ezio shooting everything and everyone.
Maxi mashing is an art. SC is not much of an artful game.
