Ok yo, taking night off from FGs and finally getting around to playing NFL Blitz on XBLA. This game is fucking sick. Complete nostalgia trip. I picked it up and played immediately - complete recall of controls and I haven’t played a true Blitz game in YEARS.
Only gripes so far are late hits aren’t on by default and the throwing and special moves (spins/stiff arms) seem to have a bit a delay, but maybe they added it for balance. Other than that it just feels like I’m back on N64 or Dreamcast playing NFL Blitz 2000 and 2001 (the best of the series imo) in the days of yesteryear.
