So right now my active team in MVC is Ryu/Sentinel/Wesker, those are the only characters I’ve ever really played in the game and am thinking about swapping Ryu out with Deadpool. Bad thing is, I’m derpa derp on Deadpools combos. Is he going to be easy to pick up, or is there another character that would work better in that slot with Sentinel and Wesker?

Haggar
Busting heads with Skrull is fun AND easy. Need easy mixups? You got it! Call Sent drones for safe meteor smash crossups. Like full-screen command grabs? Those become safe too with drones!
But that’s not all. Skrull has great normals and decent pressure. St.H is +1 on block, leading to simple frame traps and ridiculous option selects. Some normals even have Dhalsim-like properties.
As an added bonus, if you use Skrull within the next 30 minutes, you get lifetime support from lv3 XF Wesker. The fight’s never over when you’ve got Wesker as anchor! Visit our website to read the hundreds of testimonies concerning Wesker.
hahaha Well, I originaly only used Skrull to troll with Meteor Smash, is he actually any good one you get combos down?
Regarding the tier chart for KOF, based on my LIMITED knowledge of the game, it looks pretty accurate. Some observations:

[]All characters in the top right (top tier) had a combination of good normals, specials and a command grab of some sort. Robert, presumably in the middle of top tier, possesses all those as well, but lacks a good mid poke(?). He doesn’t have the same type of st. D that Kyo, Iori and Beni have.
[]Not quite sure what EX Iori is doing at the bottom of the next tier, I’m not sure what his “issues” are. Goro and Clark I can understand their placement. I’m not sure either what makes Kensou the top of that tier.
[]The rest of them I can somewhat see, except Kim in particular. Also Chin? Andy is literally “off the chart” but thats prolly cause he is so safe. Zanngggikinzanngikenzzzannnggiiiken!!!

Lastly, that chart seems to be made taking to account the safeness of moves, the strength of normals and footsie normals, the utility of command grabs, and execution and gimmicks. The characters that are safe, have good normals and command grabs, without extremely difficult execution, appear to place well.
Just my thoughts.

Abe - interesting points duder. I’m at work on the celly now but I’ll take another look at that chart. Still so much to learn in that game.
Fuck the tier list. The only thing I don’t get is how Claw Iori is considered so strong. I think he’s very strong, but I don’t see how he’s better than EX Iori. It seems like Bala sort of has these opinions and people around him sort of just go with it/agree because he beasts with those characters.
Seems like the reasoning for Claw Iori being so strong is because his damage is higher than EX Iori’s and just high in general… but still. Basically tied for best? Hell, I don’t even think Beni is #1. The reasons Bala gave why Beni is the best weren’t even accurate, so I question his judgement even though he’s definitely the best American player. No point in making a tier list right now. Even as they were making it they were talking about how different characters were probably going to go up/down on the list. The list was just for fun and because people beg for those lists so they can complain about how Kula sucks ass because she’s below such and such, etc…

Now on your salient points, as I don’t play the character, why is EX Iori’s damage considered lower in general than Claw? I personally would have agreed as a kneejerk assessment that EX Iori should do more damage, seeing as he has more options in general in regards to specials,
On Beni, if I remember correctly Bala mentioned before he has good damage, good normals, a 1-frame command grab, and other good specials. I know he has some difficulty in his execution, but as far as I know it’s not crazy. Bishop, I’m curious to hear your thoughts.
