Yes, the 3/5 thing wasn’t made aware to me until near the end of the tournament when Astaroth and someone else said something about it.
The rules that are given at the start of the tourney will be the rules throughout that tourney from now on, no matter what. I don’t mind making one or two special exceptions here and there if I have to (VERY special exceptions), but the fact of the matter is I’m still learning and growing as a TO, and to change and bend the rules to your own will, well you might as well be peeing on my shoe right then and there while we talk. I don’t want to ever come off as a dick, people that know me in and around the area here know that I’m only serious 25% of the time, but when I’m serious about a thing, I’m serious.
I understand somewhat that shit talking is a big thing in Marvel, hell I berate my friends at home all the time because the game is dumb and we are dumb for playing it. There are limits though. You don’t yell in a guys ear when he is playing a match that will earn him hundreds of dollars in cash. You just don’t. I will fully endorse the barriers/ropes for MWC, I’ll probably go buy them and set them up myself to ensure everyone gets a fair shot at that fight money.
Perfect example: Raccoon talking shit to Shinblade during a Marvel match that inevitably lead to an almost altercation of fists. This is what I said to Raccoon almost quoted before it happened “Hey man, cool it with the shit talking, its late, everyone here is hungry and tired and irritable, you aren’t helping any situation at all”, then it kept on and fists almost flew. I never would have thought I would have to throw myself between players, but yessir, learning experiences. They happen.

If I have a helper/proctor, they can help you out as well, that’s why they are there. I’m not a DreamTR or Valle or anything OG, but the players coming here should be able to be held accountable for their actions, real talk.
I can almost 105% guarantee you that that shit wouldn’t have flown had Jason been here. But as everyone else has said, it was only out of towners doing this. I love our scene and would do whatever I can for you dudes, you know this.
By the way, the last thing you ever want to do is stroll into our thread and open your mouth trying to start drama. We have enough here to deal with without some out-of-towner petty stuff. Keep that shit at home. Thanks in advance.
