I can only imagine how pissed your family was. I would have had a hard time keeping my mouth shut and we know Eddie. Josh has played him quite a few times and he does the same stuff when his friends play Josh. We have been pretty lucky about that stuff so far. A few people have done it but it is usually people that have never seen him play and underestimate him or they get pissed that they or their friends are getting beat by a kid. One of the worst was the SBO qualifier in 2010. Some of the Ohio guys came down. We had met these guys at a tournament in Cleveland that Josh placed 4th in. He only lost to Wolfkrone, Perfect Legend and Toiyet (Rufus mirror). They were all wow this kid is awesome, etc until they got here and he had to play against one of their guys. Then it was nonstop shit talk and screaming at him the whole time. Of course he had all of the TN guys rooting him on but it was still REALLY annoying. I really try to ignore it as long as it doesn’t get personal. You can talk about the match or anything about the game but no one had better ever let it get personal because I would not sit there and keep my mouth shut (it takes A LOT to get me mad but mess with my kids and it is instantaneous). I don’t pay attention to the language either. Josh isn’t 5. Fortunately he is probably one of the calmest people you will ever meet and he is very indifferent about people talking shit about him. He just ignores it and plays the game and lets the game do the talking for him.
Oh and Josh beat that guy and got 3rd in that tournament. He only lost to Damdei and Wootsick. They didn’t have anything else to say after that.
