Marcus (or anyone else that might be able to help. I just ask Khushnood Blade specifically because he told me about the setup) - man I’m having a hell of a time landing that Lvl. 2 setup you told me for Terry. It’s just the lvl 2 Power Geyser right off of the Burn Knuckle right? I’m doing cl. C, df C, qcb + A, then trying to super cancel into lvl 2 Power Geyser but can’t land that fucker. If I do Burn Knuckle by itself and super cancel I can get it like, 30% of the time (being generous). But putting it all together messes me up.

I get a drive cancel into EX Power Wave like every time. Can’t for the life of me get that damn Power Geyser. Anyone have any thoughts on what might be going on? Or execution tips for that particular combo?

Chris Brezzy- Yes any combination into burn knuckle straight to lvl 2 Power geyser is his strongest combo as of I know. Activate at mid point of the burning knuckle and any combination in crack shoot with ex rising tackle is his strongest lvl 1 combo that I know of.

You are correct. However, I think Saiki can be put kind of anywhere since he does have a good neutral game and doesn’t necessarily need the drive that being anchor usually affords him. He is definitely a monster with meter and with that he makes it difficult to get in on him. He’s currently sitting at the back of my pack to run it back just the same, though.

Saiki rules. The hardest character on my team is Elisabeth. Saiki and whoever I decide to play ( not Duo Lon ) Is probably a beast and all the other characters I play are easier and better than her. Right now I’m messing with Clark, Goro, EX Iori and Billy. I hate Billy, so I’d only use him if I wanted to be an ass, but still learning him. Still wish Ash was better. Its like they have Vanilla Guile ( Ash ) and Super Guile ( Saiki ) so I just pick Saiki. Not only that, but Saiki’s combos are infinitely easier than Ash’s. Might mess around more with EX Kyo and Beni because Bala says they are the best, even though he says tiers barely matter. I have to agree. Any time I think about rankings I just go down the list of characters and think " Well, he’s fucking cheap. Yeah, that guy’s dumb. She’s impossible to beat. I’d rather kill myself than fight that character… Fuck that guy… She’s a bitch. " Everyone’s so fucking good. This game is ass.

Also - I’m probably not going to be at fight night considering my current state of sick … But to those that don’t know - A small group of us have settled on new system for Ranbat season to allow incorporation of dat money and fix most (if not all) of the issues from last time.

You can choose to pay to play or not … but if you don’t - then regardless if you finish in First place at the end of the season - you aren’t getting shit.

We are going to run KOF, AE, and Marvel (if there’s enough interest). If you want to pay to play - $5 PER game for the whole season (5 Ranbats - $1/ranbat).

Ranbats will start in Feb. Let’s go.

Never thought I’d say it, but thanks gdbell. I came really close to saying some offensive stuff to them after I won, but because I respect Jason, I was the bigger man and just let it go. On top of that, my little sister and an even younger cousin was there, and I didn’t want them to hear that mess. One thing I was going to say was that I hope she gives bj’s better than she talks shit, because if not, you might as well use a cheese grater.

That’s how they roll. They lack in skill, so they try to make up for it in shit-talk. Too bad it wasn’t my first rodeo. Besides, I beat Eddie 3-0 in winners finals using mostly Hulk in all three games, so I knew he was salty.

Thanks Josh. Yeah, his team was pretty easy-to-use/easy-to-abuse oriented. I mean, all of that stuff worked in vanilla. Luckily, Dante was his worst character, and once I killed Wolverine, I was very comfortable.

Glad I could entertain you guys. lol I’m also glad that you all can spot and appreciate the defensive game I have to use with Hulk. Defense has been worked on twice as more as combos and approaching with him.
