I think you exaggerate a little but I honestly don’t think bison gets any disrespect moreso than any other tournament character when you play them right. Of course people are going to be salty especially if youre better or just play differently than their local ‘bison buddy’ and they think you’re random because they saw something work that seemed random to them.
To me it boils down to, if you really don’t like a matchup just learn the counterpick, I never saw the sense in losing honorably for refusing to counterpick. It doesn’t even have to be a set counterpick just another character you’re strong with.

Rufus is a SF character for sure though, don’t really dislike the fat man but idk how to play against him lol. In the same way Bison has no real offense outside of scissor kicks, Rufus doesn’t have anything good outside of dive kicks.

Diablo 3 has completely consumed me. How Blizzard made this game WORSE to GET AWAY FROM than D2 is beyond me. It’s bad. I haven’t showered in days. Haven’t taken a shit since like…Thursday. Since Diablo 3 Hell mode keeps pushing my shit in. Anyways I’m in Hell mode now thanks to my posse that helped me out in dat Nightmare mode speed run last night, and the champion monsters are harder to kill than the actual bosses…the Hell?? Literally. All I wanna do now is find that bow and arrow that does tons of damage for my demon hunter.
And the grind starts all over again with my Wizard and Monk that is coming soon to take me to that “no longer part of society/reality” realm near you…

But he is an admitted cop-out character for some players. If you like Bison, fuck folks. There are quite a lot of people who love using Bison and him as a character, always have. People will deal, got no choice to, even if they express their vocal displeasure. It’s true though, you do use an asshole character. Embrace it.

Ok so a poll real quick, what do you guys think?
Should I A: Ban Rolento at MBB since glitch is way too easy to pull off thus making it too risky to use him in tourney play since there is potential of game freezing during tournament thus slowing down the matches because of having to reset the damn console every time or
B: Allow him but completely ban knife throwing vs any fireball characters to prevent the glitch but if glitch is performed whether accidental or not that player forfeits the match.

Bans should be enforceable, dicscrete (extremely specific) and warranted.
The Rolento glitch is easily covered by the third. The main issue is the specifics, and dealing with that that can be handled by the first critera.
IMO: Ban him, make sure ALL players know to report immediately if their opponent picks him. That way you don’t have to worry about intentional/accidental glitches. Those are judgment calls that don’t really have to be made. Plus, you avoid the issue of Rolento players complaining that they couldn’t play at 100% because they were afraid to glitch out.
It sucks, but it is a game breaking glitch that is 100% reproducible by the same character. Cut and dry.
I don’t feel right commenting on that since I don’t play the game but since I’m waiting on something fuck it.
It’s an ignorant dilemma right? God. I think it’s safer to just be the bad guy and ban him completely rather than tell someone they can’t use one of his moves. A projectile at that. I can see if it was a loop or something like other games. But this nigga can’t even use one of his staple moves. If anyone picks him, 9 times out of 10, they ARE going to throw a knife by accident. What Rolentos don’t throw knives? So to allow him, but limit the use of that, even just restricting it against fireball characters, is stupid as fuck.
I know you’re in a hard place and trying to do what is the most fair, but you should prob just ban the entire character. Or it’d be like telling niggas they can’t do a headbutt with Honda. It just sounds stupid as fuck, no matter the reasoning behind it. Ol’ dumbass game.
