Maybe you can go to part where u select gems and chose to enable none? So the gem system is still there you just chose not use any.

Thursday I drove for twelve hours.
Friday I modded for fourteen hours.
Saturday I modded for fourteen hours.
Sunday I modded for twelve hours, burned my eye with hot solder, and then pulled an all-nighter, modding for twelve more hours on pain meds and with gauze over my eye.
Today I went to the doctor and got more pain meds, some eyedrops, and an eyepatch. Then I drove for six hours with one eye and on pain meds, stopping at a rest stop somewhere along the line and getting 45 minutes of sleep in the back of my car. Stopped in Nashville to mod one more stick, then drove for two hours, slept for an hour in my car while parked behind a closed gas station, then drove for three more hours. Finally arrived home at 7 AM and passed out two feet away from my bed.
The next person who accuses me of being lazy is getting knocked out.
I think it will be awesome for the arcade and casual online scenes since arcades will more than likely have a card system so players will always have access to their gem set. The same can be said for online since you’ll be playing from your own console. American tournament scene wise, this idea is going to suck unless they make it to where you can transfer your gem set to other systems(like how customizations were in Tekken 5 DR Online) but even then it’s going to become very tedious really fast. The more features they add to this game, the more it’s looking like a joke to me.

While I agree that many modern games are “too easy” all this praise on Dark Soul’s difficulty is somewhat misplaced IMO. Several of the “challenges” can be taken on by simply exploiting the games many bugs.
-Have to kill a big enemy kite it to a small path way and watch it get stuck on the geometry while you blast away at it
-Several enemies have a set distance they will follow as well once you exploit that if your in trouble cross the invisible line watch them walk away then do whatever
Then there are the situations where enemies simply follow a different set of rules than the player has too
-Unlimited arrows/fire bombs whatever
-Ability to hit threw walls in some case or alter arrow trajectory mid flight
The AI in the game isn’t anything to write home about so most of the “difficulty” just feels artificial. Now some times it works I think how the developers intended and when it does its a great thing but its getting way to much praise as it is.
I have run into almost zero of the glitches that are being reported for DS. Just saying. Geometry works, framerate is good, nobody is hitting me through walls etc.

Umm no, if others are reporting glitches and what not, it’s definitely in your game too. You didn’t just get a magic disc that somehow contains a special non-buggy build of the game on it lol … You probably don’t run into them because you are playing the game like the Guide Book tells you to instead of going into a fight blind like the majority and having to think outside the box for themselves when fighting enemies …
I can definitely tell you for sure they are there … I’ve even told Sev how to exploit a few of them to kill certain enemies lol …

They got the Robin code on all their copies even if you didn’t preorder. But in the midst of me giving in to the allure of Catwoman’s sexy ass on the back of the case, someone asked me a random question about a dvr and I was able to pull away from the tainted racks. Thank God.

And since Booty Stick is on it’s last legs and has soaked up all of the sweat, grease, and tears that it can. But if I needed one that bad I could just cop a TE. Same difference. That makes zero sense. Even if I was following the guide step for step, which I’m not, your route through the game in no way determines what bugs you run into. I’m not debating the bugs exist, but ymmv. I’m not the only person reporting a pretty smooth experience, either.
Fwiw, I use the guide more as a catalog of what cool shit there is in the game so I can plan a way to get it. You playing blind? Good for you!
Hate to break it to you guys … lol but after reading an article about it, it’s just a TE-S with a black top, buttons, and ball top – with Namco stickers (or whatever) on the side … The joystick in it says it’s a Sanwa, meaning it’s more than likely a JLF (same as in ALL Madcatz sticks) … so if that’s the case, then Mike, just buy a TE-S and pay for the buttons / balltop / top plexi and I’ll to convert it all black lol … Hell, at one point, my stick was completely blacked out …
Sure it does and I’m not talking about the path … I’m talking about how you can read about how to kill the enemies you are about to encounter, unlike most who just run in blind trying to figure it out … When you try to just figure shit out, you will more likely encounter bugs because you will try shit the developers didn’t think of … This principle stays true to just about EVERYTHING developed that has an outside use (websites, programs, etc) …

All I really want is cord extended, dual modded(it’s a ps2 stick right now. i use inpin or X-converter), and buttons/stick checked for responsiveness. If I can get that done then I’ll worry about new art, balltop/button colors.
