I think it’ll pick up lots of steam. People are calling it the second coming of Marvel, and Sanford Kelly is really liking it. I saw videos from a tournament the other day, and there’s some high-level stuff coming out of it already.

Imo TvC is a good secondary game as Tekken and SF are both fighting games that you’d have to dedicate major time to,… TvC seems to be a “just for fun” title…

I been wanting to play TvC for awhile, kind of how I’ve been wanting to check out DOA4 for nearly 4 years just because, but Jason got rid of the Jap Wii because it wasn’t MKvDC. Sean of the Nontravelers Guild has a Wii and probably the game now too. So i’ll probably hit up over there sometime this weekend, weather permitting. Team Alex/Morrigan(Batsu) ftw and familiarity lol.

TVC has been out for a LONG time. I had that game for everyone to play and no one even looked at it…I’m not sure what makes people jump on a game that has been out that long when they had opportunities ages ago to play it…it’s been out for Japanese Wii for over a year…and no one is going to take it serious…like MVC2, LOL

lolol when they declare snow days here I’m like for real? Not that i mind getting to miss class it just makes me laugh at the amount of snow is needed for one of these. Back home no lie it could snow a foot and school would be delayed, the shit never closed.

Real talk TN is not prepared for snow or bad weather in any way. I dont know if the ville is as bad as Memphis but its ridiculous. Even in VA you had to have over a foot of snow and friends of mine in the northeast laugh at anything under 2 feet.

Also, if I were to help organize something at the Union at Ole Miss, How many of you guys could come? The organizer is telling me it’ll be around the end of Feb or beginning of March, but definitely before Final Round. He says it’ll be for Smash (don’t leave yet, hold up…) but I told him I could bring in some SF4 and T6 players, and maybe do a TvC side-thing.
PS: Ole Miss is in Oxford, which is 45mins-1hr away from Memphis.
I don’t know exactly where ole miss is but I dont see why some of the Memphis peeps cant come down for SF and Tekken. The sooner the date is finalized the better though so we can plan. How far away is it?
I don’t know if any of you have played it but I just bought and beat Portal: Still Alive on the XBOX marketplace. Get this game! One of the most original and fun games i have EVER played and only for 800 MS points since its on sale for a few days.
It’s like 1 hour away. not to far at all.

Portal is amazing. Play it on PC if you can run it, which isn’t too bad because Valve games scale like champs.
I don’t have a rig just my Mac for beat making purposes. I just remember having The Orange Box and playing that game, when I saw you could just buy portal and download it I was souped as hell! I was playing it last night with a few friends high as hell and they were like holy shit this game is crazzzzzzzyyyyyyy. It’s actually very eerie too I remember getting scared because of all the weird stuff you find (don’t want to ruin anything its just you have to experience the eerieness of that game firsthand by yourself)
