Nah. I would just use the Imp switch, which lets you hold down any button you want while plugging the USB cable into whatever “secondary” system the stick is wired for. You can pick which system you want to be secondary by how you wire it inside. So if you wanted the 360 PCB to be your “primary” board, I can wire it so that you just plug it in like normal and it will go straight to 360, or I can wire it so that the added PS3 PCB is the primary one and will act in that way. The secondary board will be accessed by holding a button when you plug it into the system, no added switch necessary. I like using the LS/DP/RS switch on the MadCatz sticks as the switch, actually. Switch that toggle over to RS while plugging it into whatever secondary board you want (360 or PS3), plug in, switch back to DP and good to go. Or you can set it to any other button on the stick that you want.
Actually, Toodles, the guy behind the Cthulhu ($35) and Imp ($11) homebrew PS3 PCBs, just came out with a combination of the two called the “Chimp” for $50–only $4 more than using the Cthulhu and Imp separately. This makes it so that you don’t have to have a switch AT ALL. Just plug it in and play. I haven’t used one of these yet, but I’m positive it’s easy-breezy to do as it looks just like the Cthulhu as far as wiring goes.
So $50 board + shipping (like 3 or 4 dorra) + a couple hours (at most) of negotiable work. I never know what to charge for labor, so make a suggestion and we’ll see.
Arson, you complained about the characters being balanced and they are going to do certain things to lower tiered characters and certain things to higher tiered characters. Nothing is perfect, and again, you guys don’t know how good you have it with balance in this game because the older SF games you can’t use more than 70% of the freaking cast…that’s why I will always roll my eyes about stuff like this…

Everyone wants THEIR character to be beefed for some reason. Should just enjoy the game as it is because the only OBVIOUS problems in this one are the Guile/Vega lack of Ultra usefulness connecting and Vega’s overhead not being an overhead…(maybe Rufus Snake Strike from Roundhouse in air) but seriously…lol
I do know how good we have it, but that doesn’t mean I can’t still disagree with changes being made. At the end of the day, I’ll still play and love the game. I’m not writing an angry letter to Capcom, just expressing my opinion on a forum. Also, I didn’t want Akuma to be beefed at all. I wanted Akuma to stay the same because I didn’t want him to be too good. Also, why shouldn’t I be happy about Vega being buffed? Tons of people, including myself like to use him and would enjoy him more if he had a few more options and a good ultra. It makes sense that I would be Happy about Vega because changes I wanted are being made, and the opposite with Akuma.
I promise you, even if Akuma was terrible and Vega was banned because he became too good somehow, I would still spend retarded amounts of time playing SF with some other character. Just sayin’ my piece on how I feel about the changes.

I hate to use the word “scrub” but there are people out there that use different characters in EVERY fighting game based on ease of use but didn’t use those characters previously in other fighting games.
For example:
Cammy. She’s “ok” in this game, but in CVS2 she was used all over the place because she was easier to use. Hardly anyone used her in ST, flocked to her in CVS2, and abandoned her in this.
Balrog. Same thing. Flocks in ST (YouTube generation that wanted to relearn ST) used him, disappeared in CVS2, heavily used in Sf4.
You know how many Vega players there were in ST? Tons. How many in this game? Very, very few.
You should have seen how many people used Nakoruru in CVS1. I kid you not, top 10 tournament placing at majors, 70% of the players would have Nakoruru on their team. EX Balrog on the others…these are Capcom people moving on to random SNK characters and COMPLETELY abandoned her in CVS2
Mekkanic, characters with buffs and nerfs have been around for awhile. Champion Edition from Reg SF2, Hyper from CE,Super SF2 from that, ST from that, same with the ALpha series…it’s just the first “new” SF type game since 2001 (CFE does not count) so people aren’t really looking at it from that perspective.
Ok, so my friend is a brilliant computer programmer. He asked me if we were going to play Left 4 Dead 2 tonight. I told him no and that my free time is now dedicated to street fighter 4 virtually exclusively. He asked me what platform I play on and I told him 360.
2 minutes later he messaged me and said that he ordered the game. I laughed and linked to the arcade sticks (dude is rich so whatever). I told him that street fighter is serious business, and if he decides he likes it I’ll help him out.
This is going to end BADLY. Just for the record, I never at any point in time suggested that he’d like it or that he should buy it.
Hey guys, sorry I couldn’t make it out to KiT, but something came up. It looked like an awesome tournament though! I saw some of the videos folks posted up and the competition must have been pretty fierce. Empire Arcadia wasn’t messin’ around…good shit gentlemen!
Looking to buy a cheap pad or stick… if pad then it needs 6 front facing buttons (fightpad would be good), or a cheap stick you don’t want any more, doesn’t have to be good, as long as it works

Yeah, this team is super solid both player and character-wise. I also plan to play my ass off and level up so I can do well in FR and do well if i need to step in as an alternate.
Hehe, Dic of the South. But thanks dude, that’s what’s up. I still have a lot to learn but KiT reinvigorated my fighting spirit and I’m ready to grind and get better before FR. I did speak with Andre and got a lot of advice, even exchanged contact info so I could keep talking to him about stuff.
Again, I wasn’t scared to MM Sanford or anything, I just wasn’t cool taking 20 of your dorra when we are all pretty sure of the outcome, lol. But hey, next time, if you wanna throw me some cheese for a MM, i’ll consider it a compliment that you’d trust my skill up against a certain player and do it (I know, bit of a stretch, but I have to rationalize it somehow). And we’ll get back out to memphis one day for chillin and casuals in both SF and Tekken.
