Pssh, I discovered unblockables at EVO that are still in the game. I can think of two right off the top of my head using Felicia alone, one by herself and the other as an assist.
Actually, there’s an entire group of people in Memphis who are amazing players but never leave their houses. They just sit at home busting out shit in training mode and never do anything past that. We call them the Memphis Non-travelers, and they’re the reason there used to be a rep in Memphis about them never coming out to tournaments until Mike, Sev, Lycan, and Jan came to Red September in Jackson a year ago.
This is the first New Years I’ve had in four years where I haven’t woke up still drunk or hung over. I’d be disappointed if not for the fact that I managed to finally correct my sleep schedule. So happy about that.

Yay!!! See good things happen when you aren’t plastered. Hahaha! Now I just need to straighten MY hours out. I had a headache from hell yesterday and took some medicine and went to sleep for hours. I woke up right before midnight and haven’t been able to go back to sleep since then. Oh well today is just a lazy day anyway so it really doesn’t matter.

I’m kind of in the same boat here. I know I missed like, one, but I had some personal shit going on at the time and really needed to just, get away from the situation. Depending on how scheduling shakes out I may still be able to make it to a tourney on the 8th if one is announced officially (has it been?). I’ll for sure come through Thurs and Fri though.

I know AE and MvC3 are getting a lot of buzz on the 2D front, but peep this KoF XIII gameplay: New King of Fighters XIII Videos from?a-cho - iPLAYWINNER - FIGHTING GAME NEWS STRATEGY & MEDIA. Game is looking very solid. I’ll be picking it up for sure (as in purchasing, before I get the “lol no one here will be playing that after a month lol”). I’m getting every fighting game worth it’s salt that drops while this surge of popularity lasts for collecting purposes. That and because fighting games are just awesome.

Chris about the tourney, it’s the perfect day to have one, just because I am not in town doesn’t mean we can’t have one. I can’t recall the last time I ran a tourney at the arcade anyway. Richard knows how to run the tournaments…besides, if Josh and Memphis are coming it’s kind of a no brainer
