I’ve been saying that for months. 
3/4ths of Memphis keeps saying they’re hopping on the Marvel train, but I know after 3-4 months (or however long it’ll take for SSF4AE to hit consoles) it’ll just the same six guys that play MvC2 already (including Jas and myself. I’d say Sev, but he doesn’t play MvC2 at fight nights for some reason).

So yeah, I’ve pretty much been playing Civ IV non-stop since 3 AM this morning, all the while blaring the Panty & Stocking soundtrack. It’s been a friggin’ awesome day.
Sure I do! It’s the only think people in Memphis plays that I actually win matches at. Actually, I’m probably top in Memphis at TvC, but I think it’s because I’m the only one who actually owns the game (aside from Gene’s brother Andrew).
Meh, noone wanted to come up tommorrow, so looks like im out on that.
Although rain or shine I will fully support whatever tournament happens on the 8th.
Sorry Woot, been working a lot recently, so I’m actually just looking forward to taking a load off and chilling at the house for a couple days.

Real talk I will play TTT2. I was telling Abe the other day that I will be sticking to two games on a competitive level: SSF4 and Tekken 6/7/TTT2 and Marvel 3 will be casual level at best. I like the series, however it will only be a matter of months before Sanford, Yipes, Marn, JWong…heck even Jas, find unblockables and homo infinites that will just piss me off. That game will be broken before 2011 gets going good. Marvel 3 will be big; it will not be bigger than Super for the above reasons. People don’t play SF4 because it is “too simple”. I can only imagine how these people will feel about MvC3. lol But hey just IMO.
So once I get the whip straight, I will be attending Tekken gatherings on the regular so I can get the months of beatings required to get good out the way so I can be ready for Tag. Tag slick looks like it could be broken too but I doubt it will be on Marvel’s level.

We will be in Nashville from Thursday until Sunday afternoon. Josh will probably spend every waking minute at the arcade. If we are coming and Thomas is coming then there is no reason why EVERYONE anywhere close to Nashville shouldn’t be there on Saturday. Please guys…I don’t want to drive 3 hrs and spend money for less than a dozen people again (not that the 10-12 people who always come are not appreciated cause you all are). Prove Jason wrong that it will be barely 12 people!!
Oh and by the way Josh’s 15th birthday is Monday and he said he will be accepting gifts in the form of money, checks or video games!! LOL!!!

Thats you and marvel, just less drum solo talent. If you plan on jumping in you need to stick with it, otherwise “MAN I PRACTICE ALL THE TIME AND IM GOOD AND I KNOW FRAME DATA AND THIS BEATS THIS AND SPAM THAT” is only going to get you so far once someone goes “Well why won’t you enter a tournament?” “cuz…uh…hay whats that over there??” runs away
