I also thought that Arthur was going to be dumb but he looks like he will have a mean projectile game! What I hate with this game so close is you keep looking everybody over and you’re like no my team is this. No no wait my team is this. No no no it’s like this now yeah that’s the best right there. Mostly every character looks really fun to play at this point, you can’t go wrong with anything you choose.
DaRabidDuckie, Im expecting an epic match against you on the fight night of the MVC3 release. I’m taking MvC3 seriously. You and Godlike- Rushdown are the 2 main players Im looking forward to sparing with on day one. Give the good fight.

Well, you want to play Cylus instead of me. All I’ve got backing me is theory,since the build I played is super old now. I DO have an advantage now, but it’ll be short-lived. As far as I’m concerned, nearly all of us will be on even ground come day one.
There’s a big difference between not recognizing and baiting for information.
That right, Cylus have played the earlier/recent builds also. We going to have a great MvC3 following at FN. Cylus, I looking foward for a good fight and insight into the game come FN Hastings.
So I say we should start doing show matches at every Hastings gathering, take video, and post it online for everyone to critique. This should also be on a head to head setup (each player has their corner).
Think about it, every week there’s a new first to 5 grudge match get excited about. This would definitely settle who’s the best of Hastings, and it would bring a lot of fun back to the scene. A lot of people don’t have a reason to train because there aren’t any rivalries anymore…and a lot of people don’t get better because it seems like there isn’t a lot of discussion about the game: I think something like this could generate both.
Really, who wouldn’t want to see the top players in this area duke it out. I think ranbats are good, but this will give lesser known players a chance to really show their strengths and highlight/improve upon their weaknesses.
Even if we don’t decide to do any of that shit, I still think it would be cool to have a head to head setup and a video camera there…
We do record some of the beer/grudge matches at Hastings. I think we recorded ranbat finals last season too. The main thing is, right now is kind of a lull period. Many players are waiting on MVC3, AE, etc.
I know that Squabb has full recording equipment, but if he brings that, it precludes him bringing a setup as well sometimes as that’s a lot of damn gear to lug around. If we had more than enough setups to go around, then he could just record without shorting Fight Night a setup, but as it is, well, setups are an issue right now.
What’s the hate on drooling over another game? SSF4 is getting old to me and I need something new. Where this is not a new edition of the same game, this is a new game. Most people tend to get excited over a game or 2 over the years, o, and my last team I’m using is called Tier Whoring.
So after messing with event mode with Kris Nelson today in Arcade Edition it shows the time of each match and the characters who fought and who won, up to 200 matches can be shown. Basically if anyone is filming and forgets something or whatnot, it’s very interesting that this keeps track of everything…it can also be set to Stage Select and is MUCH faster than Arcade Mode (VS play)
