Hey, a group of us are coming from ga to play AE at game galaxy arcade tomorrow. We are planning to get there at 10am, though we might run late. Hopefully we will see some of you there. We have 4 going so if 4 of you guys show up, we can get the $20 all day pass. See you tomorrow.
Lord Jas, I think I am the only person who used Rufus in AE and as far as I know, his EX Messiah does less damage, his Ultra 2 only hits once as Anti Air and drops them…and…that’s all I am aware of…
Also, you pressed on it though earlier, MVC2 is BROKEN. Nothing really to defend on that game as fun as it is, but you said it, the Iron Man infinite is just an “easier” infinite, LOLOLO, that’s what we are talking about easier infinite in a fighting game and people here complain about matchups and unbalanced SSF4 =P

Well that’s good to hear. I can deal with small damage nerf on ex messiah and i almost never use ultra 2 so that wont affect me at all lol
I know other than Rufus i will mostly be playing Viper anyways and will mess around with Yun just for the sake of seeing the differences between this and 3s Yun.
It was mainly taking away the main use of Ultra 2 and making EX Messiah do peanuts damage that kind of killed Rufus. He’s still a powerful character, but he has to have moved down the tier list some.
Also, LOL Gief spd, that thing could pick up and slam someone from 2 countries over. Got it on Pat the other night when he stuck something out, and it was like a 3rd of the screen away, Pat’s reaction was to stare wide eyed and say nothing for a second. It was pretty damn funny.

I guess it could be worse though…could be like everyone else complaining about “lack of character experience” when they lose to someone…at least it’s not as bad as Florida where everyone complains about counter picking but I have to say, if you lose you lose…you don’t hear me complaining when I lose with my shit characters, lol…

^ If that’s directed at my post I think you may have misunderstood. Cody said he told you that arguing was useless or something along those lines. I was just saying that I saw no arguing going on in the conversation and that it appeared to me to be a pretty fruitful discussion with both sides being pretty reasonable. LOL Mike…some of those Just Frame moves were either too easy or too hard…couldn’t “plink” those in MK VS DC, LOLOLOL…I love how one frame links in SSF4 are done 90% of the time by people and in MK vs DC one frame Shang Tsung Just Frame is 1 out of every 10 tries, LOLOLOL oh that game was fun. I think I will write a thesis on it for kicks.

Yea it was either/or. Jax’s was harder at first imo. Liu was so easy-bake. I already had a habit of doing fly kick immediately after bike everytime since MK2 because no-one used to block LOL. Braindead timing + 16 year old habit = success. The air fireball->fly kick was nothing also.
But yea, it’s funny how some of the players with decent execution in other games put “pro moves” on a pedestal. Lantern’s killed the game though…
