I also love how the ceiling collapsed on VEWLIX today. Lovely. I think one of my pinballs in a bar is submerged in water. This state is just ridiculous.

I hope everyone is safe and can eventually get home or if you are home I hope your house is okay and not flooded. We have family in Nashville and have been worried about them. It is not bad in Knoxville at all thank goodness. I hope everything gets better quick so we can make it down for the tournament next weekend (if it will still be going on). I feel for you all and you all are in my prayers! Be safe!

Crystal: the tournament is still going on. The flooding will have receded by then anyway and I don’t see any forecast for more rain, but yes, the May 8th tournament is still planned. We’re just lucky we weren’t scheduled like MTAC was this weekend, those guys got rocked by the rain…
Shenglong: I get kicked out by people I’ve played before, but I never go to Endless Battle and try those unless they are private/player matches. Some people just don’t want more than X amount of players in the room…
That’s good! Josh will be glad to hear that. I figured everything would be better by then but I wanted to make sure. I don’t know what MTAC is but from the sounds of it being anywhere near Nashville this weekend sucked for just about everyone.

Dream: Im watching the stream on Iplaywinner and crackfeind used Dudely against an Abel. For the most part crackfeind got rocked but there was one round where your theory about Dudely getting in was proved right. He got an opening from EX machine gun upper and from there Abel’s life bar depleted about 60% and fast!!! That made me even more hype about Dudely. He will take some learning but I think if I put in the time and get my footsies down I will win a lot with him.
Also, is anyone here on PSN and plays a really good Chun? I was reading in the match-up thread that this is Dudely’s toughest matchup and that this matchup will force you to learn footsies and how to use them properly so if anyone wants to play me sometime let me know!

It is an anime convention in Nashville. Though the main focus is anime, there is some emphasis on gaming and they, along with many other anime conventions, have Street Fighter or Smash Bros tournaments. I had friends that were up there for MTAC and they are stuck in Nashville until further notice. All the roads coming in and out of Nashville are closed or flooded so yea its a pretty gross situation. But you will be for next weekend like Dream stated.

This is by far the most important tournament this state has ever had and will bring more name players this one day than any other previous tournament. I don’t think we’ll be breaking records on the attendance, but it is going to be pretty packed.
