Well, we have to bang out the rules for the 14th…it can’t be entirely limited to Nashville because obviously we have Bowling Green/Cookeville/others that come to the tournaments regularly, though Memphis has their “own” top 10 they are using for a Memphis crew.

I think the rules should be FT2 for the initial games 2/3 rounds 2/3 games, if you get a win you still get a point, so losing 2-1 is not as bad as losing 2-0. You will have to play EVERYBODY at the event but to make this a little more “fun” we’ll have a normal GG singles tournament FIRST then do the initial Top 10 Game Galaxy Ranking System meaning I will open it to everyone at first, but the rules will be the person below you can can only challenge the person one spot above you once a week (this can be changed) and if the higher ranked person does not accept, the spots switch. These can be First to 5 for the ranking spots. Matches can be played anywhere convenient, central location is the arcade…

Throw a first to 5? Now Now squab that won’t be necessary as I believe I am skilled enough to at least give people a headache. So I was going to do this later but since everyone is kinda already talking about it here goes…

**GDBELL V NASHVILLE BATTLE ROYALE **

This is my challenge to you guys and its simple. I will play any and everybody to a FT5 OR FT10. Money or no money. Though I don’t agree with everything he says all the time, Dream honestly made a good point when he said I haven’t really played anybody from up there in Nashville so I had no room to talk about play styles or who would win or lose vs Memphis players. (I have played Chris and Shawn though). So I said to myself, “well you have been a douche on here long enough, stop talking and play these guys”. So in the same vain as I played the Memphis players, I challenge any and everybody on this forum from the Nashville area. I’m sure a lot of you are dying to play me! I can see the blood in your eyes already. So when can this go down?

I am willing to come up during the next tourney you guys have IF and only if I can catch a ride with some of the Memphis guys if they decide to come up. So its all dependent on that as to how soon we can play. Again, this does not have to be a MM. I just want to play everybody up there and see whats good. If you want to MM me, I am down just let me know and I will see what I can do. I believe the only person who wants a MM is storyteller for $5. But again, I will play anyone for absolutley no money.

The purpose of this is to just pick up the sticks and play. Trash talking and hype gets old to me after awhile to be honest and I end up wanting to just play. I will be toning it down…like way down. I have tried to be more docile on here but usually I’m called into the open like a deer, only to be shot once the gums start flaping and I’m usually pinned as the bad guy. So the best solution probably will be to log off this particular forum for awhile…I will get into that later though.

So there you go Nashville. Tell me if you accept or not. If I win, sweet, if I go 0-100, I will just shut up and train harder. I do have certain players I must play when I come up, in particular Gene, Arson, G-Ram, and Mekkanic. But like I said, I will take on all challengers and I will sit there and play however many matches. 200, 300, 400, doesn’t matter.

Also, I will be at Hastings tomorrow, so if any Memphis guys have any frustration they want to get out, tell me you want to play and we will play. The only person I will not play for any reason is slawhappens but that is it. Also, me and Squab agreed to a pre-run first to 5 so if someone wants to record it, its cool.

Alright, off to gamestop to pick up BlazBlue. See whats good with it. Duckie you still bringing a set-up?

or GDBELL could just add all these people on XBL and save alot of trouble of having to get there. Sure it’s online play but you can still infer alot. He could also goto Nashville but I think the online play would suffice it.

Nah. See in situations like this. I wouldn’t want things out of my control potentially messing with the outcome of the match, i.e. lag. Also at the end of the day, online just doesn’t cut it for me unless you have really good people to practice against.

gdbell, next tournament is Aug 14th but I won’t be there. Dunno if anyone from Memphis plans to come.

Chris: It’s on JPN PS2 nigrow. But it has to be one of the most expensive ps2 imports ever. You know what to do…

Duckie: It works on anything. I got my friend’s fatty and we were playing on Bishop’s slim yesterday. It’s just a program file on the memory card that instantaneously starts up once you power on the ps2, though I can’t just copy the save to your memory card or others. It has to be put on it a certain way via computer or whatever. Also, games require a special patched burn. Meaning you can’t just play real imports or the typical Swap Magic burns. The games have to be burned with the patch. I got the mem card for MBAA and other patches. For real imports or old burns I got Swap Magic 3.6. So I’m covered either way.

Glasscock: Rock Lee. And not the Naruto character. Once you get into the game it becomes competitively addictive and you become tainted with evil. As far as MBAA, do it. It’d be impossible for you to hate anything except the pricetag. Soooo, you know what to do…
