That’s good to hear duckie about that. I really haven’t even heard of Asus until less than 3 months ago, but they seem like a good company so far what I’ve read.
They make the best damn motherboards on the planet, hands down, but Gigabyte comes close. I’ve also owned Asus video cards, and they were pretty solid.
Of course, as much as I trust Asus, I’d still get at least a three-year parts and service warranty. I’ve worked on too many laptops in the past five years. Heat = degredation, and laptops get hot.

I’m really not sure how Starslayer is considered a “Pro” for this play with the pros thing for SF. I’ve played her Honda before online and she’s really nothing special. I mean, I know local players who have much better Hondas, like FlyMike, chit and pJan, for example.
