In other news: we will be dedicating at least 3 setups to Rankings for this week’s Hastings gathering. That’s SSF4, so if you want to play BBCS or T6, please endeavor to bring your own setup, though I think we’ll have a good amount of setups anyway so things should be cool.
Also BBCS is really good, tough but good. Gag endings are bugshit insane. Buff Tsubaki.
Basically the next few weeks everyone will play everyone in a RR. Then your win/loss ratio determines your rank in the city. After that people can challenge others to rank up. If you are unranked you can only challenge the 10th ranked person. If you are ninth I think you can challenge up only two spots. Squabb has all of that written out though. Basically dont be 10th cause your gonna be challenged all the damn time. There will also be a ran bat season too but that wont be till the general rankings are done.

Boom Cube plays a nasty Tager too if you wanna really get put through the wringer…I think he’s picking Hazama up but I’m not gonna speak for him on that. If you really want good players to learn every character matchup Pat’s roommate plays Carl the right way and I know a guy in North Carolina that beasts it with Arakune. Don’t know anybody that plays Litchi…might need to find somebody since she’s top tier and all.
The same BnBs you see every internet Tsubaki use can be low barrier blocked out of halfway through it if not a little before. Just mash A+B while holding down back and eventually you’ll find that gap, and once you spot it the first time you can nail it more or less every time. Tsubaki’s dumb, BnBs that get blocked out of halfway through, standing wide open reading books to do special attacks…smh

Josh gave in to the BB hype, we just wrapped up his first set of BlazBlue matches a few minutes ago. Awesome games, lots of great replays. Looked like SOMEBODY plowed through Ragna’s challenges cause he was bouncing me all over the place with juggles and cool shit I don’t think I’ve seen Ragna players pull off before. Josh knows how to work wallbounces. Nasty business.
Really wish there was a replay uploader or something, I save entertaining ones despite whether I win or lose. Most of ours from tonight were of me losing, but it looked AWESOME.
