I dunno, I’m not that knowledgable with him. I did just goof off with him in training, and as far as I can see Hazama is best at medium range (I like falling fang, despite noticing it’s a typo in the move list o_O). Ouroboros sucks at long range, because the recovery is based on your range, and it’s hard to control where you’ll end up. The only exception seems to be j.3D~D if you can aim it at their feet on a counter. That gets him across the screen pretty damn fast and puts you right in front of them.

Okay, say what you will about BBCS, but the story mode alone is well worth the price of admission. The scene during Rachel’s story where she messes with Ragna by putting a certain pair of glasses on him has me laughing so hard my stomach hurts.
She has some nasty Japan-style loops that are pretty flashy, carry the sorry SOB caught in it across the screen, and is almost ALMOST an infinite combo…but it does dick for damage. Hakumen got better, might give him a shot even though he’s worlds apart from Noel.
Also G-Ram I haven’t touched Hazama yet, but I have a feeling I will be soon to give another friend some tips. You’ll probably figure stuff out before I do but I’ll see what kind of tricks I can figure out in one sitting.
Anyone that wants to try and take a top 10 spot. It’s going to probably take a few weeks to do this since we have a community that likes to show up randomly from week to week. We’ll talk about it more tonight tho.
Block. It’s really that simple. If you have trouble with what comes AFTER the safe jump you can normally backdash or teleport if it’s a huge issue with dealing with pressure.
EX PC is a free escape against ryu at all times except on safe jumps where he will SRK you, but if you do it as an OS’ed blockstring interrupt its safe again. So you’ll block the Jumping move, and find a good time to EX PC through the blockstring, I usually only crouch tech only the initial hit so that if he ticks off his jumping move you tech, if he doesn’t do a true blockstring after his cr. lp / lk, you’ll EX PC. After that, it’s really simple just to reaction tech after 2 moves have been used in a true blockstring if it comes down to that.
If you have no EX you’ll just have to deal with it though. Backdashing and Teleport will only go so far, and alot of the time you’re safest option is to block and reaction tech.
Last but not least if you Focus the Meaty Jump in and immediately backdash the OS won’t ignite.
