Tons of new fighters coming out and the only one I’m hyped for is TTT2, which makes me sad. Look at the line up:
SCV - was hyped but the more I watched, the more I got depressed. Plus too many mimcs is like too many shoto’s.
BBCS:EX - nobody will play it here plus it gets boring really fast like the rest.
SkullGirls- is this game even coming out? I think it’s a big as troll to the anime crowd just to get them horny and leave them with blue balls. Not a fan of the art and only like 4 characters. No thanks.
SFxT - even with my girl Asuka beasting 2 SF characters at the same time can’t get me hype for this bad experiment.
VF5: FS - I’ll play it just for the funny as win quotes “yeah, I just handcuff lighting!” you can’t make that shit up.
Persona 4 fighter - I have all 4 RPGs and can’t tell you a damn thing about them, lol. Might give it a try…maybe.

It’s not a bandwagon at all. He’s a “new” character (one of the newest since PS3 owners had to get both him and Mr. Karate on the same day) so of course people are gonna fuck with him. Doesn’t matter though, it isn’t like he’s “cheap” or anything. Fireball Kyo is just a better character overall and has the raw ability to juggle anything anywhere along with massive damage. EX Kyo is neat and has tools of his own. He’s good. He’s a more fundamental character but once you taste power, there’s no going back. So you wouldn’t have to worry about Fireball Kyo users switching to EX Kyo for any reason, whereas the people who do run him will be the ones who always liked rekka style Kyo, more fundamentally sound players who are interested in utilizing his tools, or just people who want to play a generally easier character(combo-wise). Dudes are gonna have to be solid with him though.
Also your av sig, lol I don’t think you quite know what NESTS is. He’s not called NESTS Kyo because he’s a member or anything. People call him NESTS Kyo because this was (roughly) the version Kyo that was in the games during the NESTS saga when they were cloning him and he wore the white jacket and toned down his flames in order to hide out from them.
Blockbuster came to doors? Hell nah, that must’ve been a VA thing because dude would’ve got the dogs put on him down here. But yea, this new SSX is just a pure mixture of Tricky and SSX3, both of which were the best games in the series and have diff camps claiming which game was better than the other. Lol it’d be really nothing to teach if they removed some of glitches and wormholes, as that was the only stuff that you prob couldn’t pick up without just playing, practicing, or memorizing track layouts. I still don’t even know the control scheme for this one yet. But if you really want to play it like that then cool because I’ll be on it like crack for sure. Will actually be online and prob join a clan with some players from back in the day, just because the online aspect and free-riding is supposed to be so beastmode. We’ll see. In either case, I’ve already witnessed the proof that my stress reliever is back.
P.S. You wouldn’t be alone if you got the latest Melty Blood. Lil Melvin played it for real(as much as one man could by himself), Bishop was Bishop, and I learned a bit of Actress Again. Then Arkansas plays, and I got to go down there while I still knew a bit of what I was doing somewhat. But I really like MB though. It’s just that they released the newest version on PC instead of console so I don’t really know if the developers are aiming for a large crowd. But if you wanted to somehow bring your hard-drive over people’s houses then it’s all good lol. Or if you wanna bring Actress Again because that game needs to be played. Haven’t kept up with what’s supposed to be new in the latest one.

I like the SSX vids I’ve seen and would like to get into it. Tricky was fun as hell and it was a bunch of us playing at the time. Differently will get into it.

Go for it. Takes about same type of creativity or persistence to maintain a run, find the best lines, or string the highest multipliers of tricks, as it does to put shit together in a fg. Then competing against another player, whether it be a race or trick battles, is the usual deal. Plus, it’s nothing else on my radar around that time anyway so even if I didn’t play past ones hardcore I’d prob still pick this up on a blind buy. Plus that Tony Hawk HD Remake is coming out this summer which is cool because they’ve kept true with compiling the best of the earlier games in one package. Someone must’ve just told them years later that going the “jackass” route and every shitty game after THPS4 or the first T.H.U.G. wasn’t the best move.
I don’t know whether he trully “likes” it or not, but he respects it and will continue to play it for as long as someone keeps getting on the stick. To me that’s nearly same difference, though he’ll prob tell you something else.

They said it won’t. So I’m thinking it may be remixes from like the first 3 games or just new shit. I’d hate if it were the latter though. But I’m kinda thinking it will be because they replaced the tapes that you could collect with dvds and stuff I guess to keep it current. But why do an “HD remake” of a game if you just want to translate it to contemporary status?
Oh well. At least the stages will be recreated faithfully will all the ramps and shit in same locations and I think I read that the OG team was doing it. If anything, I’d just rip the old THPS soundtracks and listen to them while I play if they have Waka Flocka and Daughtry on remake OST.
