I’m picking up Dudley. Something about me and black characters in this game. I’ve played Balrog, Deejay, and now on to Duds (Gief is just as black as anyone else in the game, don’t hate hooyeah).
@ Chris B: Yea that’s what I’m talking about. “Blooka blook” is what we call any multi-hitting confirm, and the definition naturally translates into the full combo if you have meter on deck.
I thought it was a mental thing or that you just didn’t have knowledge of the buffering because I’d love to have that motion for super cancels. The Burn Knuckle acts as the buffer for the Power Geyser because it stores the QCB from the knuckle then all you have to do is mash out the d/b, f+PP. In there! Even Terry’s other juice like the crack shoot->SC-> Bustah Wolf is easy, only because the Crack Shoot in a combo gives you forever to crank out the dub QCF. Otherwise this motion would kinda be a bitch for other characters that have to cancel reverse motions ON HIT. But whatever, that combo is negated now because EX Rising Tackle ender is more dmg. Plus if you have two bars to spare for Lvl 2 Bustah Wolf, you’d might as well skip the crack shoot and do Lvl 2 Power Geyser from knuckle.
But yea you sound to have it down now. Terry is too solid and easy. I would’ve been using him if I liked him. Let people keep reading the bullshit someone else posted and spread the gospel that he’s bad. Yea right that’s why he’s the glue in multiple teams in tourneys. Just do you and let the paint dry on these bastards. Also, your basic Kula is annoying and dry enough with the footsies and spacing and speed dial punishes. Just an FYI for anyone going to the tourney on Feb 11 to Game Galaxy. The winner for each of the four games will receive COVER and ENTRY FEE paid into the BIG Memphis Tournament on Feb 18. This would be UMVC3, AE2012, SC5, and KOF.
Jungle Fever. That might be why you don’t play KoF much(or so I think). Serious lack of blacks in XIII. No Duck King, Khushnood, Seth, Heavy D, Richard Meyer, Bob Wilson, etc. and no fucking Lucky Glauber. Oh god Lucky would be most hated top tier character this gen.

What would you guys think of an overall season with Memphis/Nashville tournaments for each of 3-4 games and the overall winner getting something like an extra $300 or so at the end of the season? Thinking we might be able to swing that…Basically $300 to each game for the winner at the end of each season…March to July ? (EVO)

I’ve already discussed this a little bit with Dream earlier today but I would like to know what everyone else thinks about this …
I thought of an idea to have Memphis and Nashville alternate months they have tournaments so that it would be easier to plan and attend each others events. When we both have a tournament on back to back weekend (or in the same month sometimes), it can be hard for players to save the money and plan to go to both. Basically what I proposed was that Nashville takes half the months and Memphis takes half.
Something like this:
Nashville: Jan, Mar, May, Jul, Sept, Nov
Memphis: Feb, Apr, Jun, Aug, Oct, Dec
I think this would be great since each city would have about a month and a half to plan for the other city’s tournament. Anyways, just figured it was a decent idea to allow us to visit each other more and grow as a state.
Thoughts?
Edit: We could also tie it into what Dream was talking about above.
I’m going to the GG tournament on the 11th for sure, but I know I have other plans either on the 18th or the 25th, gonna have to ask wife what’s up.
