The issue wasnât so much the Mother dying, I mean it sucks but it made sense as the series went on.
The problem was indeed the Barney/Robin divorce as it COMPLETELY invalidated the entire final season within 15 minutes and destroyed Barneyâs character arc. NPH deserves better than that.
yeah, just saw the first episode yesterday. i really like the cast, and im a nerd, so im going to give it a shot. i think it will be the âbig bang theoryâ for people who dont suck.
also, dusk till dawn is coming along well if anyone is watching. episode 3 was fairly boring, but episode 4 was great. so with that said, lets get to episode 5. episode 5, that fucking border scene was the worst fucking writing i have ever seen in my life. not the lines, but it made no sense. the pastor knocked someone out in broad daylight surrounded by cars, 30 yards from the border crossing, and dragged his unconcious body onto the rv and no one batted a fucking eye? LOL WUT THE FAWK. then you had âthat 70s showâ doing his snake body changing shit in broad daylight infront of cars 10 feet from the border crossing. WUT THE FAWK. the asian son could have ended it all in the rv but didnt, but thats understandable. that border cross scene was just riddled with dumb. i have no idea how anyone with half a brain wrote those scenes, and thought yup, this makes sense. NO, NO IT DOESNT. NONE OF IT DID.
anyways, they are finally to the bar in âdusk till dawnâ, so things are gonna start getting extra supernatural here soon, which is cool. the show is still good imo, but that border cross scene in this episode was a complete and utter failure of writing. apparently the asian son is special somehow though. im looking forward to seeing what his power is soon.
The transformation thing erks me and the whole shaking the head like a snake just looks naff, everytime the guy does it I think âGo gurl!â.
The bit in the mirror where his reflection shows he looks like the guy he just killed was poorly down, they werenât in synch with each other at all.
Then there was the bit where the ranger is running towards the minivan just before the shootout from a direction that is just impossible for them to see in the side mirror.
Youâd think border patrol for the Mexico border would have some decent marksmen, but they couldnât hit anything. And what happened to all the people waiting to cross the border, they should have all hit the gas and driven into the desert to escape.
RW/RR The Challenge: Free Agents
Iâm liking the format of this season; more focus on individual stuffs and some change-ups here and there:
challenge format to be determined on the day of competition; team, pair, individual
winners of the challenge are safe; they choose one losing male & female to go into elimination.
losers are not safe; they participate in âThe Drawâ, where they hope to avoid picking the elimination vote that automatically sends them (one male & female) into the elimination round against those who were voted in.
iâm waiting for it to be uploaded on TPB. prob gonna marathon the rest of RR:xplosion this weekend while iâm at it.
but prelim thoughts off of what you just said, love all of that shit. i love the randomness of a draw. the politics are great, but really anything that doesnât allow weak teams to avoid elimination is a great addition.
fargo was pretty good but I dont know how theyâd expand it. good acting and they are doing a good job xcopying cohen bros brand of dark comedy lolâŚ
Silicon Valley is ok, best part so far was one guy calling his friendâs life âas pointless as the multiple endings of Mass Effect 3â, which the other characters though was pretty harsh.
