Im on episode 5 and none of them match up to the pilot. The writing and characters arent nearly as good as justified (except for job. “Bitch wheres my money?”) which is the closest thing I can compare it to. I dont know if id be as interested if it was on regular cable.

wow, that latest episode of supernatural was atrocious. i just wanted to beat the shit out of all those kids,and that scene with the empty gun at the end was fucking garbage. yeah, that makes sense, leave the hunter crazy enough to do what he did, alive, so he can just do it again.
i know supernatural never wants to cross the line of killing humans, and they usually deal with it fairly well, but that shit was the worst in this episode. hot garbage. i hate teenagers. lol
Business has damn sure picked up in Beauty & the Beast… but once again there was no appearance by Kristin Kruek’s gorgeous little roommate. This is most unfortunate that there’s not much room for her in the story anymore due to what’s going on at the moment.
Vampire Diaries was golden as well tonight… the ice-cold, emotionless version of Elena is awesome… she straight up killed a bitch like it was nothing on tonight’s episode. Interesting role-reversal there… Katherine is the one that’s trying to be more human and has become something of a sympathetic figure now… and Elena’s the ruthless one lately.
B&Beast-- duuuude, Vincent… one of the golden rules about having super-human abilities is to make sure no one else is around when you do something “super”! Dude’s super-jumping like a MvC2 character right out there in public. Rookie-mistake, man… he was just seen by one of the main characters as he jumped from the fire escape of Kristin’s apartment.
Just watched episode 5 and 6 of banshee and its picking up again. Damn the albino was pretty awesome as a villain.

*DAYS OF OUR LIVES on right now… Nadia Bjorlin(“Chloe”) is seriously one of the hottest pieces of ass in the entire history of television. Episode 9 of banshee was one of the best episodes of tv ive seen this past season. The fight between anastasia and oleg was ridiculous. Job is offically my favorite character on tv. When banshee ends I want a job spinoff.

Yeah that first episode of banshee is so bad ass. I thought the next few episodes weren’t as good but then it picks up again around episode 5. Actually the quality of the episodes is directly related to the amount of job in them.
Justified took a bit of The Walking Dead route for an anti-climatic finale. However this show has better dialogue and pacing so it isn’t too much of an issue.
But that intro with the Raylan/Winona combo was OP as hell, but that’s what the power of Raylan’s seed can do to a woman.

Ya the writing in justified is definitely top notch. There wasnt a big cliffhanger but im going to love seeing a pissed off villain boyd next season.

Well, apparently Vampire Diaries is in syndication now and airs on WGN as well…it’s on that network right now. This is a recent one too; season 4, when they get into the “Hunters’ mark” stuff. This show has the absolute hottest line-up of ass in television today… outstanding. Nina Dobrev(x2 since she’s 2 characters). Candice Accola, Claire Holt, that girl who was “Jenna” in the earlier seasons, Kat Graham…Malese Jow from the early seasons…that gorgeous MILF that was Tyler’s mom Ms. Lockwood… there’s not much out there that can even begin to compete with all that.
*oh and the show even had the legendary Kelly Hu! Yeah, folks… the line-up on Vampire is indeed that serious. You’re missing out if you have not seen it.
Haven’t seen the original series yet but US House of Cards is just perfect, in an era when there is so much great tv it stands out as better than just about everything not on AMC or HBO. Can’t wait for S2. Another equally GDLK show The Killing (which exposes 99% of all cop shows aired in the past 10 years or so as formulaic garbage) was uncancelled and S3 is premiering in may WOOT! This is how you do justice to the serialized police procedural.
Also The Big Bang Theory is possibly one of the absolute worst shows I’ve had the misfortune of giving a chance. I can’t recall another show which displays every negative aspect of American TV and the sitcom genre so efficiently as it does except maybe Meet The Browns and House of Payne. These 3 shows which epitomize the collective cultural slumming and corporate assault on human intelligence make Jersey Shore look like avant-garde art. While I’m on the topic of sitcoms I caught a random episode of The George Lopez Show for the first time about 2 months ago and I was shocked how well written it was for a formulaic family friendly genre piece. I don’t have much of a desire to watch it again as my opinion of sitcoms mirror that of Andy Kaufman’s, but I might and that is impressive.
I need to start watching Homeland and Downtown Abbey, been hearing good things and they look like the type of shows I’d like.
