So Season 2, episode 8 is where the first mention and appearance of an “Original” family member happens… I forgot that it was this early in the series. Elijah actually karate-chops a head OFF, folks. Hell yeah.
Also—the incredible LAUREN COHAN was on this! She was in this and a few other episodes as “Rose”, who was on the run from Elijah (and probably the other Mikaelsons as well). She’s been known to the world as “Maggie from The Walking Dead” for so long that it has become easy to forget she was on this…she was also “Bela” from a few seasons of Supernatural.

The more entertaining parts of THE STRAIN for me have been these damn flashbacks… I love it every time they go there and show some background on certain major characters. It was interesting to see Eichorst back in his days as a “regular human”—and that was about 1931 where he was a door-to-door salesman (it appears that the character should be early to mid 30s at the time) if I recall in the first part of that segment…so he’s somewhere over 110 years old.
*bonus - Dutch running around in her little panties. YESsssss.
Fear the Walking Dead–The TnA wrap-up:
Daughter = HOT…and she had a very small skirt on episode 4.
X-wife = niiiiice. So, it appears that the main guy on the show actually downgraded. The blonde woman is alright, sure… but given the choice…that Latina would be the preferred option.
Ophelia, daughter of the shop owner - HOT…would get pounced without question.
…and now there’s the asian woman doctor that just showed up…she’s a good one too, but the main character’s daughter is the #1 fine piece on the show, imo.

^oh yeah- Vampire Diaries----Yeah, it got to a point where it was basically me and “Invincible Swordsman” and probably 1 or 2 other people talking about it. Sheeeit if I didn’t have to wake up tomorrow for work I would be watching another old episode again right now… currently in season 2, enjoying all these episodes again, just because I like the show that much.
I still think they could’ve written Tyler up to be a great and understandably cruel/bitter supervillain, but they wasted that character so damn much in the later seasons. It would be understandable for him to become an evil son of a bitch because NOTHING has gone right for this dude ever since season 1…the writers shat on that character so much over the years it became hilarious to me…like “well now…let’s see how they’re going to fuck over Tyler THIS time…”…and it’s across 2 shows! The dude showed up on The Originals only to end up getting that ass beat and put right back in his place by Klaus himself…no choice but to return to Mystic Falls…then he hooked up with that curly-haired blonde cutie and was a nobody on the sidelines like Yamcha ever since that point.
*that one season with the “Travelers” <-- weak; I really didn’t care for that one… those characters were just boring.
Just finished 2 new series
Blackout, about the girl with the tats who doesnt remember anything. Its basically kinda like blacklist from what i get from the first episode. Just nobody with character like james spader, but still good nonetheless.
I also watched, limitless. I was eh about the show, but the first episode was really good so far. It will be a fall staple.
There are about 3 other shows minimum i wanna peep, but wow, i might be a super tv junky this year with all these shows dropping this fall. lol
Yeah i half way through the first ep of limitless as well… loved that movie. Caught up on fear of the walking dead… im taking it zombies havnt been heard of by people in this that universe lol.
Still have to watch the latest episodes of the strain and ray donovan though… also wanna check out the new muppets show… for old time sake.
Only new shows I’m interested in that I can think of are Heroes Reborn and Blackout. The rest are destined to be cancelled after a few episodes.
Especially Minority Report. I’ll be shocked if it’s any good.
I think Limitless has potential. I enjoyed the pilot for what it was. I don’t see it being canceled after a few episodes. Honestly your show has to be EXTREMELY bad for that to happen. Otherwise networks give you the full season.
I need that drug.
One downside to Limitless. I can’t look at Jennifer Carpenter’s character and not see Debra Morgan. I don’t even remember her character’s name.
