Just started watching Luther, I’m on episode 4 but I was already blown away by the show after episode 2. Haven’t enjoyed TV like this since The Wire.

Like everybody on the last page I picked up ‘Being Human’ last Monday. I like it. All the characters kinda have their own thing going on within their own “species” then come home and try and just chill out which is really cool to see. Ghost girl is fiiiine.

Missed Archer premier got it set to record for tonight so I have something to watch after work.
What ‘Late Shows’ does everybody in here watch, if any? Daily Show + Colbert Report (usually skip interviews though unless it is somebody really interesting and not a historical author or a bureaucrat which can be interesting but kinda meh) and Conan which I’ll watch all the way through until I get to the “overly artist musical guest.”

I also watched Bauer’s new show… that black woman in there is outstanding. At about the 31 minute mark on that pilot episode, there is a side-profile shot of her as she’s talking to him. The amount of ass poking out is incredible. It’s that “capital letter ‘P’” kind of profile, folks. I’ll pay a good sum of money just for one grope session with her and those sweet cheeks.
I made the mistake of trying to watch Alcatraz after missing the first hour of that premiere episode, so of course I had no idea really what was going on other than an apparent time-warp situation…oh but it gets bonus points for having Parminder Nagra on there. She’s another good specimen (*borderline Magnificent 5™ caliber, actually.)

modern & old dr who are both good…but i recommend you start with the old version since there are references in the new dr who you may not get if you’ve never watched the old one. you don’t really have to start dr. who from ep 1, just watch the dr who eps of that particular actor that had curly hair and a rainbow scarf…whatever his name was.

Personally I recommend starting with the 2005 series with Eccleston. The restart (not a reboot) was designed to give new fans everything they needed on the backstory without having to go through the backlog (without spoiling it for those who did want to go through).
I caught a couple of episodes of Cheers on WGN a few nights ago. I got a little sad because I forgot how much I love the show.
But then I found out they have all the seasons on Netflix ;-;
OT: I can’t wait for Game of Thrones, Boardwalk Empire, Burn Notice, and Psych to come back on.
