Watched episode 1, so much pop music I wanted to be shot, that was torture. On ep 2 now, much better but teenage romance shit is nearing Smallville’s level of cheesiness.
Snagged the Blu-ray for Hannibal Season 2.
From commentary showrunner Bryan Fuller said show has been greenlight to run 6 seasons instead of the planned 7, but awesome to see a guarantee that they will be able to finish out their vision without fear of being cancelled. Richard Armitage(Thorin in the Hobbit flicks) has been cast as Francis Dolarhyde and they bumping up the Red Dragon adaptation to start late in 3rd season.
Can’t wait, especially after the amazing season 2 finish.
Me and my girl binged on the first 2 seasons of Hannibal in about a week. Show is so gdlk. I really don’t know what took me so long to get on it but I’m glad I did. That season 2 finale fucked me all up.
I almost gave up on hannibal and arrow because they started kinda slow. glad I didn’t lol…

Bruh… I mean bruh… This shit is so legit it’s too good to quit (Yeah, I went there).
In the first few episodes they’re pretty clean- looking, but that slowly starts to change over the course of exploring the environment (from living in a space colony to touching down on earth). At this point everybody has cuts, scrapes, and bruises. When they get dirty, they stay dirty (provided they have no supplies or water-source to get clean).
Character-wise you have those you initially love and hate, but circumstances change and you start rethinking those first impressions. No-one is outright good or bad, some might be more selfish or harsher than others, but not the obvious “mwahahaha!” type of evil.
Give the show a chance. It’s solid in the beginning with maybe some minor gripes, but turns into something good when it gains momentum.
I’m on episode 4 I’m fast forwarding through the love stuff, it’s so cheesy. It’s still early on so I’m going to try seeing it through to the end of the season, but is there a particular point where this picks up?
I like Grimm. Comic book live-action tv shows generally suck due to mis-handling…or being about a character who’s boring to begin with (there’s only so much you can do with an “exorcism of the week” format). You can be hype as you want for them, but if they suck, or if the character is too obscure (more than likely the case here, even for people who DO read comics), or there is about as much tv advertising for the show as there is for a new SNK game (also a problem here) the show WILL be cancelled due to lack of interest. Constantine’s show has 3 or so million viewers as of the last ep. I’m not sure why that’s not enough to renew, but that’s tv for ya. Maybe they can get something going with Netflix…who seem to be doing that kinda thing lately (I mean, have you seen the deal they have with Dreamworks for 300 hours of original shows? Netflix is kinda kicking ass with exclusive series). Meanwhile Grimm is pulling nearly 6 million viewers, so it gets to stay. It IS entertaining, so there’s that.
I wouldn’t fast forward past anything tbh, I know the love shit is cheesy. But it plays a big role in character development and they throw a couple curve balls in there which make those particular parts bearable and and integral to the story.
Mid season you should start seeing the ball rolling. At the end of the season i’m pretty sure you will start season 2.
Hotness Alert-- Christina Milian has a “reality” show now…it’s on E! network right now…and she’s looking better than ever. This girl is just on absurd levels of sex appeal. Salad-toss-worthy? Yep. There is really no flaw I can see with this woman. Now that I think of it, it’s surprising I never had her ranked on my Magnificent 5™ list. Well, she instantly goes into consideration now.
Oooh now she’s crying in this scene…nice. I like seeing them cry.
Speaking of celeb-“reality” shows… it’s a damn shame Julissa and Adrienne’s show (Empire Girls) apparently didn’t work out (Adrienne Bailon has some daytime talk show at the moment)… I miss seeing Julissa Bermudez on tv. She’s another legendary one. (e.g.-- here. …and oh yes here…)
