I was playing AE 3s the other day… so anyhow, I’m midscreen and getting up off the ground. My opponent tries something (can’t remember) I reversal teleport (PPP) backward to get away.
Akuma Goes into his pose, and the shadows start appearing around him and I’m just starting to travel backwards… but my opponent starts up his super! I wasn’t worried, but after super flash Akuma is just standing there, NOT teleporting, and I eat the super.
it sound that if you were to do it early going back it could have worked some sa have such good range that you must use teleports safe and only when it would make a big difference!
I got “reversal”. I couldn’t have done it any earlier. I don’t know much about Akuma, but the teleport looked like it just STOPPED completely. Maybe I could’ve blocked it even? I dunno… i thought I was safe.
Can you hit him out of teleport? Not the recovery, but the startup-travelling part.
hrm… could I have blocked/parried the super? Or maybe even teleport again?
EDIT: oops… looks like there is a recovery when teleport is cancelled. It’s small, but if the hitting super is right there when I stop, I can’t do shit.
Seems to only cancel the “travelling” part of the super too… when he’s in his raging demon pose.
I know this glitch and it is what makes him a good charachter and its not really a Glitch it is more a tactic for a Raging demon special. The teleport tends to lag for a breif moment causing the raging demon input to be upridictable. This was first used in Alpha chck it out its pretty sneaky
