Any way that people for the tournament only can get in without paying the convention fee? A lot of the guys who are around here are only interested in the money tournaments and not the con.

If i pay for a Saturday only pass and get to would I be able to get a pass on Sunday if i win?

What Shinlad was trying to say is that if we pay the outrageous forty dollar fee to simply compete in the tournament for Saturday, then happen to get into the semi finals of the tournament, do we then get the privilege of paying another 25 dollars so we can make the return trip to finish up the tournament on Sunday or is there some way to just bring in the top 8 to play without having pay extra just for winning? Or should we suck it up and pay 55 dollars for a weekend pass that we may only need for one day…

What happens if there aren’t more then 16 people for these games? Which in my opinion is more than expected for a pay to enter tournament in Pittsburgh. Are you going to hold one round of winners, one rounds of losers, then call it quits for the day?

Now that I’m past the bitterness, is there anyway we can offer to help alleviate the stress of running these tournaments? I can say that most of us who do want to attend this event, myself included, are very serious about our fighting games. I recognize what you are trying to do by spacing out the event, on a larger scale, it would be very exciting. However we would much rather prefer a one day tournament. I would be more than willing to assist in running the tournament, preparing brackets, calling names and so forth if it lets us have the tournaments just on Saturday. Let me know if there is way we can figure this out, it would be much appreciated.

Did this ever happen?
