Plus I think its always a unbalanced game. The small short range chars like natsu and others have to fight in close against guys with poles and samurai swords . Then there nightmare 2 hits dead
I dont know much about SC so I can’t really say much, even though i played sc5. However, I wouldnt want that meter bar on tkxsf, because I think it just wouldn’t be tekken at all. But that is probably just me.
Most people on 8WR complain too much about balance when the game itself isn’t any more unbalanced/balanced than most other fighting games these days and generally doesn’t have anything too overpowered. At least nothing like we’ve seen in any of the really unbalanced games we’ve played before.
I feel like you don’t have a firm grasp on the capabilities of each character. First off, every character really has to get in close, as such is the nature of the game.
Secondly, EventHubs has Natsu at 6th among the whole cast, and she has tons of useful tools. Not to mention loads of unpredictability and a couple 30-50% combos.
Third, Nightmare does not kill anyone in two hits, not in this game (SCIV however…). Yes, he has good damage, but he has multiple short comings that balances him out.
From what I can tell, it’s community voted. Sure, there will be those jug heads who cry out ‘ICANTBEATDAMPIERREPLZNERFOP’ and vote as such, but from what I’ve viewed they are actually rather accurate…unless of course the game is outdated itself.
I agree wholeheartedly, and someone forgot to add that part to my post. However, since there is no news about it (which is odd, sense T7 won’t be out until much later and the rumor is that they are releasing more than a couple fighters this year), minds are going to wander.
Not necessarily, as fighting games are constantly evolving, although I agree that people who have no true understanding of the game are given the opportunity to vote. Just looking at a few tier lists they have up proved to me that mostly those familiar with the respective games are contributing.
One can always hope for a game they are more interested in. Also, wasn’t TKxSF rumored to be released this year or something? I feel like that is no longer viable.
I hope tekken X street fighter isnt a tekken clone because of you guys. they’re releasing tekken 7 already so that confirms that it most likely won’t be
I LOVE Tekken, the game is too deep to be whoring out its gameplay mechanics
2016 kinda sounds like a good release date. I’m just hoping there isn’t an arcade version as that will delay TxSF longer. Just release this bad boy on console only, Harada.
Ki Shima, it’s a Tekken game, of course it’s going to have Tekken mechanics. I sure Harada is going to add some flair to make it different from the regular TK formula, but it’s still going to play like Tekken.
I wonder if Namco really even wants to do this. They chickened out last gen because of TTT2/USF4, and now it’s because of T7/SFV. At this rate we’ll be lucky to see anything before the PS5 is announced.
